   How do you express gratitude?
   
   I asked some of my students last week to tell me some things that they were thankful for. I got some good answers. However, their answers made me ponder the posed question. I intend on following up with them asking them this same question. Thanks for your responses.

   I think the obvious answer is verbally in the form of saying thank you - however I prefer to take it a step further by regularly telling people in my life just what I admire and appreciate in them at random times, not just when they have done something for me.  I also believe in demonstrations of gratitude - doing things for those in your life who help make it better/easier etc.  For example, my mom watches my son regularly while I take classes and my husband works.  I know she loves lambs and cardinal birds, so when I am out if I see something unusual with her favorite creature on it I just pick it up for her and surprise her with it. Those kinds of things in addition to just saying "thank you" I feel make it more meaningful.

   For me, I express gratitude by saying "thank you."  I also try return a kind favor with kindness.

   I say "thank you" and I am to their disposal when they need me and in the extend that doesn't go against my values, buy a present or do something else unexpected ... !
   But being grateful doesn't mean that you have to be in a never ending bowed position in front of the one who helped you; that's not gratitude anymore but  closer to a kind of slavery form of servitude that nobody needs.
   Speaking for me, when somebody expresses his/her gratitude to me verbally, that should be enough for my standards...lol... ...!
   Don't really see what else should be added in order to.

   Saying thank you is my simple way to express my gratitude. Sometimes I do it through action by helping that certain person with his or her needs depending on the situation.

   It is always the most simple gesture or words - Thank you
   
   It may be not sounds to be great but that is all it needs to express gratitude.
   
   Just like when I say I love you to my wife. It is overwhelming to hear those words.
   
   Or when someone makes a mistake, he says I am sorry. That it also the most wonderful to be heard.
   
   Keep it simple. The person will know when a person is sincere when saying those words.

   A smile and a thank you - sometimes followed by an act of kindness and generosity - is a nice way of expressing gratitude.

   You will be amazed at hoe the two words:Thank You can do for somebody.Showing someone you appreciate their efforts makes their day as long as you do it sincerely and with a smile.

    We can express gratitude by saying the magic words "Thank you". I usually use the below sentence..
    
    I am happy, grateful and thankful for.....
    
    Then i fill the sentence with whatever i am grateful for....You see the main point is the feeling which is attached to the words. If the feeling is deep enough then we will attract more of what we expressed gratitude for into our lives. The more and more we express gratitude with deeper feelings the greater will be the magnetizing power. One way of achieving this deep feeling is to list out the reasons why we are grateful. If the reasons really mean a lot to us then this creates a deep good feeling.
