Do you believe in the trinity?
relating to God, Jesus and the holy spirit
No, and why would I when it's not true - it's a lie.
The Godhead is a Duality - Father and Son with the Holy Spirit as their Power.
1 John 5:7-8 is a man made corruption and an addition of men into the Holy Scriptures. This is the only verse that mentions the trinity apart from Matthew 28:19 which is also another corruption. Eusebius circa 270 AD confirms this in his writings
The trinity was conjured up by the counterfeiter and philosopher Tertullian in circa 200 AD and then added to the Latin Vulgate Bible in 390 AD by Jerome, yet another counterfeiter.
This means that the trinity was unheard of in the First Century Church - and why is that? Because it's a man made fabrication and a lie added to the Holy Scriptures in the 3rd and 4th centuries.
I disagree with the doctrine of the Trinity because the concept and nature of the Father that is espoused by modern Christian believers today rests upon the heretical teachings of the gnostic Valentinian believers.
Another reason why I do not believe in the doctrine of the Trinity is because of the improper interpretations those who hold to the Trinity Doctrine attempt to reason in scripture. Immediate and historical context is important when you look at the scripture passages.
The final reason is because of Christ's own declarations that he had made on several occasions where he defines a physical and spiritual distinction between himself and the Father.
The modern view of the Trinity is that God the Father, God the Son, and God the Holy Spirit are all three one and the same God. I do not believe this. Obviously God and Jesus are both of the Godhead, and the Holy Spirit also has a huge role in the Godhead. One has to wonder; if God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the exact same being, then why is it that blaspheming God, and Jesus can be forgiven/pardoned during this age, but blaspheming against the Holy Spirit cannot/will not be pardoned either in this age, or the age to come.
If the three were the same, then the punishment for blasphemy against all three would be the same. However, they're not the same.
Also, triune believers teach that the Holy Spirit is a person, but often only depict the Holy spirit as either fire, water, or a dove.
There is God and Jesus and these two are the persons of the single Godhead, and the Holy Spirit is their power.

Yes, I believe in the Holy Spirit and He is mentioned many times in the Bible!
The Trinity is real!
I do not believe in the concept of Trinity. I am not a Christian however, I have done my research and have disproved the Biblical Trinity using examples from the New Testament. I have published my article. One of the points mentioned in the article is that the Father (member of the Trinity) is clearly supreme over the other members (the superiority of the Father has been mentioned in the Bible at many occasions and I have given references) yet in the Trinity every member is to be equal in power , status, etc.
Wikipedia states:
In 325, the Council of Nicaea adopted a term for the relationship between the Son and the Father that from then on was seen as the hallmark of orthodoxy; it declared that the Son is "of the same substance" (?????????) as the Father. This was further developed into the formula "three persons, one substance". The answer to the question "What is God?" indicates the one-ness of the divine nature, while the answer to the question "Who is God?" indicates the three-ness of "Father, Son and Holy Spirit".[55]
Saint Athanasius, who was a participant in the Council, stated that the bishops were forced to use this terminology, which is not found in Scripture, because the Biblical phrases that they would have preferred to use were claimed by the Arians to be capable of being interpreted in what the bishops considered to be a heretical sense.[56] They therefore "commandeered the non-scriptural[57] term homoousios ('of one substance') in order to safeguard the essential relation of the Son to the Father that had been denied by Arius."[58]
The Confession of the Council of Nicaea said little about the Holy Spirit.[54] The doctrine of the divinity and personality of the Holy Spirit was developed by Athanasius (c 293–373) in the last decades of his life.[59] He both defended and refined the Nicene formula.[54] By the end of the 4th century, under the leadership of Basil of Caesarea, Gregory of Nyssa, and Gregory of Nazianzus (the Cappadocian Fathers), the doctrine had reached substantially its current form.[54]
The "Trinity" was never a concept literally spelled out in any portion of the bible. It is a word that was never used, kind of like 'Grace'. It was a concept, or 'revelation' to some regarding passages they found. Make of this what you will. Wikipedia has an interesting entrance on it.
My father is present within me. My mother is present within me. I am both, yet, neither. Iam "ME". Three, present in one body.
You asked if I believe in the trinity. The simple answer is: Yes and No. That means, they all three exist and cooperate together. But they are not one God together, but instead one in purpose.
In the same way we, the Christians, are one in Christ. We are one body in Christ and members of one another (Rm.12:5). But I am not you, and you are not me, even if we are one in purpose. We are not Jesus, even if we are in Jesus. Do we agree?
Jesus said that he is in God and God is in him. But he said also that his disciples is in him and in God also (Jn.17:21). Seriously said: This doesn't sounds that God is a triune God (Jn.17:21), because there are a lot more than three. So the word trinity is a misleading doctrine in the Christianity.
My extended answer is a bit more complicated, but still very understandable:
GOD is only one (1), not two or three.
(Deut.6:4, Isa.44:6, 45:5, Mk.12:29,32,1.Cor.8:6, Eph.4:6, Jas.2:19)
THE FATHER is the only true God.
(Jn.5:44, Jn.17:3, 1.Cor.8:6)
JESUS is God's Son.
(Mt.3:17, Mt.17:5, Mk.1:11, Mk.9:7, Jn.3:16, 2.Pet.1:17)
THE HOLY SPIRIT is God's working power, whom God poured out upon Jesus, and later also through Jesus.
(Isa.61:1, Lk.4:18, Lk.24:49, Jn.20:22)
The fact is: Jesus denied himself to be God. Instead he said that there are only one God, and that the Father is the only true God.
(Jn.5:44, Jn.17:3, Mk.12:29,32)
Jesus is still praying, even today (Heb.7:25, Rom.8:34).
The Holy Spirit is also praying (Rom.8:26,27).
But the Father is not praying at all. We can't find a single verse in the bible which is telling us that the Father is also praying. So the conclusion is, that Jesus word's was trustworthy, when he said to his heavenly Father, that he alone is God (Jn.17:3). There is absolutely no sense in saying, that God is praying to God, as long as we have a monotheistic worldview.
Jesus is the mediator, between God and men (1.Tim.2:5). Jesus is the only way to his Father (Jn.14:6) without exceptions.

Do you believe in the Trinity and why? What many people do not realize is that the Trinity is dogma from those not empowered by the same spirit as those that wrote the Bible. It is not sacrosanct. I happen to believe that Jesus is the Son of God and one in the same as God and that it is a Holy...
