What if Jesus and Krishna both lead us to the same goal?

If you die and go to the gate of judgement and find that Lord Jesus and Lord Krishna are having a stroll beyond the big gate while Moses or Abraham are checking your documents? I feel all religions lead us to the same ultimate destination of self realization. I feel Jesus and Krishna both showed us the same path but differently to suit our different cultures.

I would not have any complaints if I showed up in heaven and this was true. However, Jesus is very clear in saying that He is the only way to heaven. So maybe he got some details wrong....or maybe He is right. That's for you to decide.

Jesus said that He is THE WAY, not a way.  He also claimed to be God.  If He isn't either one, he is liar or a lunatic.  Christianity stands different from all other religions. All of the other religions are what you need to do, Christianity is what God did for you.  The teachings of Christianity cannot coexist because its teachings are exclusive.  All of the other religions founders are dead and their graves can be visited.  Jesus is alive, you can't go to his grave.  Christianity is based on a personal relationship with God.  If Christianity is right, all other religions will lead to one place, hell.  I believe that Jesus is the only way to God as he says.  I have seen enough lives changed that I am convinced

I thought Jesus also said that "the one that sent me is greater than I am". Please Clarify.

As a Christian, I have to depend on what Scripture tells me.  Scripture tells me that Christ said, "I am the way the truth and the life, no one goes to the Father but by me."

He did not say, I am one of many good ways to get to the Father..  As a Christian, I place my trust in what Christ said.

ercramer36 said it all and said it well.

The big word in your question is "if." If your scenario is true, then Jesus lied to us. I, for one, don't believe that Jesus was a liar, or crazy, or a charlatan. Jesus is the one who made the claims about being the only Way to heaven, the source of this claim is the Bible, not Christian opinion. Your claim that these two religions are the same means that one is defining the other, and in this case, you are defining  Christianity according to Krishna. If you are going to allow Christianity to have its own voice in the dialog of world religions, at a bare minimum you need to allow it to make its own claims. Since Hinduism in general and followers of Krishna specifically claim that all paths lead to the same goal, what you are saying is that Krishna is right and Jesus is wrong; because Jesus most emphatically denies that Christianity is one path among many. And really, isn't your question the same as asking, "What if Pixar and the Federal reserve have the same mission?"
For the record, there is not a single verse in the Bible that could lead you to the conclusion that Christianity is about "self realization."

I think it is a fair question, complicated but a good one.

From studying the different scriptures from around the world I concluded that everyone must choose for themselves what is right and true.  I personally do not like to get too heated over religious topics.  I just like to chant Hare Krshina with my other associates.  However, that does not mean, that I do not love Jesus and appreciate his teachings.  Some claim that Jesus is an incarnation of Krishna that came to help a certain set of people during a particular time period.

I have already done my own compare and contrast analysis on religions around the world so I will not try to do any convincing about which is best in this forum.  WHat I will say is that I I seen Krishna and Jesus in the same heaven strolling around together, I would be very happy.  This would show that our major figures in both traditions could live in peace together in heaven so we should be able to live in peace here on earth despite our difference of opinions.

If they want to know who is greater, that would up to the two of them to settle the bill.

    Best wishes
