In my experience reading alot of the answers around christianity, I have found that the very people who profess to be christians are casting the first stone. Not everyone. But I have to honestly say the majority from what I've read. Why? and how are they able to do this if they are christians, It is not a natural trait. I really struggle with this and cannot get my head around it. Please tell me where the christian part of relaying damming judgements on people lies? Its incredible that some feel that they do have this right!

need I say any more.Thankyou for your comment petenali.
So right on point...just pray that they will see the truth and step away from the judgmental attitude.
Thank you...good stuff!
Thankyou point2make. I'm not sure about good instincts but I do feel that life could be so much more enriched for so many if we shared compassion, enabling others, rather than oppressing them with our negative, egotistical views.
Thankyou for commenting Mr Maranatha. May I firstly ask what the 'condition' is that you refer to in need of a cure? apart from the obvious evil in the world and not respecting or alowing others dignity, which hopefully by most christian standards is
The Sin Condition... What is it? Boil it down into something you can more easily understand: Rebellion against God and his plan for our lives as individuals and as a society. Specifics: Read the New Testament Esp. Mat,John,Romans and 1&2 Corin
Yes, I am already familiar with the new testament thank you.I'm happy that I strive to live a good life, treat others as I'd wish to be treat, also with my relationship with God.He alone will judge my thoughts, actions and words as He will everyone.
I just think that it is so sad that we feel a need to judge others. There is no need and I feel if the same energy was put into positive words and building people up, then we may be greeted with more positvity from others we thought unable to reach
FSlovenec no need to aplologize for others you are a gentleman! I sometimes become infuriated at the sheer bigotry of others. Thankyou for your comments.
Remember that Mat 7 was written to believers... Not to a sinful world that rejects the concept of Sin and lives in wickedness. We are a called out assembly that Jesus has already cleaned up. It is our purpose here to proclaim the Savior VS Sin
Druid Dude! I'm aware that not everyone is what they profess, otherwise why would they shout so loud? thankyou.
content4life I think most people do acknowledge that they have faults, however unfortunately they still appear to have deluded views of their rights when considering others.Thankyou for your comment.
Yes. It is so easy to use this 'truth' as a shield from an individuals personal opinion.Thankyou.
Have you already put on Christ? Have you yet overcome the worldly carnal self from before you met Jesus? "Ye Must be Born Again from Above..." Titles do not save, Only Jesus can save you from your sins He will also Clean & help you. If you let
don't understand the question. Christians have an objective moral truth they live by, which is found in the Bible. that objective moral truth is not dependent upon feelings, and is not up for debate.
My problem is the way in which that truth is at tmes interpreted and often twisted by many to fit in with their own their own beliefs and feelings about something. You are right moral truth is not dependant upon feelings.
can't vouch for others.... and neither can you. I don't like the way that many dabble in moral relativism=depending more on their emotions, wants, desires & opinions in light of the Word, & the Objective moral truth it presents- and don't se
no I can't vouch for others but I've read some pretty blatant, obvious damming statements on hubs by christians about other's lifestyles without knowing anything of them. And I don't simply mean offering their opinions of which we're all entitled
I think we can all be guilty of judging to some degree because we're human.Blimmey I'm no saint! but I am aware of others and I believe in treating people with the respect they deserve as human beings and just accepting that we are all unique.
