If we accept an expanding universe with billions of galaxies and the logical likelihood of other planets with intelligent life forms, would discovering that those life forms had a savior like our own Jesus alter your Christian belief? (John3:16)

I think that is what I was pointing to; His name might be something other than 'Jesus', but He would obviously be the same person/God. Why would God make the universe so big that we could not share the Good News with everyone?
Exactly. What if God sent Himself to other planets as well, for the same purpose. he's God, he can do anything. And to think we are the center of the universe? How egotistical! That the Bible supports that we are? Absurd.
I do not expect to alter a believer's belief; I too, am a believer, but one who enjoys pressing the envelope of my understandings.

Ok, so Jesus said he would return, if he came back, how would you know it was him and not a false Jesus?
I expect you believe that The Earth is the centre of the universe as well. Why do you think God let all the trillions of planets be formed, if they were all going to be empty?
Who said they were necessarily going to remain empty? If we can go there why would we not visit regularly or even choose to to stay a millenium or two?
