What is holding you back? In my case it is economic issues. My one 'thing' is that I would travel the world to the highways and byways to meet the people and learn about their way of life after I have seen e v e r y thing in these United States. What about you?

Live anywhere near Boston/south shore in MA? ;) Been playing since about 5, and started teaching periodically on the side (my real job - privilige and joy! - is working with children with severe/multiple disabilities) since about '93.
My husband and I have a business ... not getting rich, but it is so much better than feeling like we're spending the best hours of each day making someone ELSE rich!
There is nothing like it. Personally, I am driven to it; even when I worked for others, mainly the federal government, I was always trying to start something ... it is just in the blood, I guess.
That is encouraging Brett, my sentiments as well. @Esoteric I feel the same way - there is no satisfaction except when you work for yourself.

Nice! That's what everyone reports. A lot of people say at first it's terrifying, but your nervous system goes numb and after the fear wears off, you are left with a thrill so intense it's almost like a high. I envy you. haha
For my friend and I who started at the same time, we started out numb, didn't know what to afraid of. By the 10th jump, we became terrified and almost quit.
thanx... some of us want to travel the world, others of us just want to have a healthy nervous system... thanx for keeping things in perspective...
