From a Spiritual perspective: what does your heart desire?
If you were to sit quietly in meditation and listen to your heart...what would you learn?
Wow what a question Denise!! I think I'd desire an open mind and spirit...good question!
It is a question of the heart to prompt others to listen as well...thank you for responding.
That we would all truly love one another unconditionally. To love even those are who really hard to love, as I believe it would change the whole world.
Thank you, Faith Reaper, for bringing your heart's desire into the format here. Unconditional love is available to all at the deepest recesses of our Being, if we could only set aside the conflicts of our egos.
My heart desires to feel again the warm embrace of my heavenly Father. To feel entirely invulnerable, perfectly responsible, utterly humble, loving with abundance, and the 100% confidence to perform miracles.
I long to let go of all attachments, especially to ego, but also desires, importances, attitudes, beliefs, goals and other earthly cares. I see myself merely creating.
I know the direction, but ego resists. What I long for would be the death of ego and survival is so much an instinct built into that heart of selfishness.
Namaste, lone77star. In that desire I wish you many blessings...there is richness in this desire and the path can be lonely, yet you are supported by the Soul's desire to be free.
Wonderful question! I would like to awaken, become enlightened. It would represent freedom from the ego, the illusion of the world and therefore suffering. I have no control over this, but, this is what my heart truly yearns for.
Maria, my sister, thank you for sharing your heart's yearning. Your beautiful book, 'Beyond Inspiration' expresses that, and so much more.
To be a good person and do good works. I hope to want for others what I want for myself.
It's funny that when you aren't sitting quietly your heart will speak to you. I think the fact that we take the time to listen when we're in need of something takes away all that our heart has to say. You'll be surprised how at any time random instances will provoke you to listen to what your heart has to say "from a spiritual perspective." AS for what my heart desires...it desires alot of things as I'm quite sure some of those needs have already been met.
Good points made, Vonda. Thanks for sharing your perspective and responding to this question.
Appreciate stillness and learn to be honest with myself and others:)
Thanks for sharing your heart's desire, Beata
I would like to be able to get back into my singing again as people seem to enjoy me quite a bit when I do it.it is my heart's desire to cause happiness in others.
That's a beautiful goal, LaughingRain I wish you much success

All disciples of Jesus Christ are christians, but are all christians true disciples? What does it take to be a true disciple? And why do many who state they are christians never call themselves or see themselves as disciples? How many times have you heard some say; I am a disciple of Jesus Christ?...

Our desires in life may be fulfilled, but our choices (based on our desires), may lead to great forms of suffering. The attachment to a memory or a past event, may lead to great suffering. The attachment to the idea of a better future, may lead to great suffering. The attachment to the idea of self,...
