An ancient scroll was uncovered recently that was translated as Jesus referencing, "my wife" and that she would be one of his disciples. What are your thoughts that Jesus was married?

Hi Faith-thanks for stopping by and adding your thoughts and beliefs to the group. It appears that most everyone is feeling much the same way. I just saw an additional piece about this subject and it is questionable.
Interesting views, Mindy, thoughts to ponder... Thanks for commenting.
Where in that manipulated Bible did Jesus ever mention world peace? He told us that he came tomake brother against father, mother against daughter and such.
Hi Atiquemr9-DaVinci code was actually mentioned in the second (ABC World news) piece that I heard. It's fascinating-a scroll of papyus(sp?) paper was found with the words 'my wife' translated. You can prob google it, (authenticated/scholars).

Thansk Ceegan for sharing that link. Yes, it should set one straight.
If Jesus had a wife on earth, why does the bible say He is coming back for His bride: "prepared as a bride adorned for her husband" (Rev 21:2)? That makes Him sound like an adulterer. We are to believe the spirit, the letter killeth. (2Co 3:6)
Thanks for your response, Larry.
unless it was Mary M as common fantasy likes to believe :)
It is thought that he was married to Mary Magdalene, and she was at the crucifixion. She stayed with him when all others abandoned him, she was at his tomb and was the first to see Jesus after his resurrection.
