Bacon Flavoured Crisps, they're kosher, but are they moral?

An ethical one for you all. I currently teach at a Jewish Sunday School (a Cheder), and the children are offered a break midway through the morning, and often bring snacks. One girl brought with her a packet of Walker's Smoky Bacon Crisps, and when confronted by my colleagues, she rightfully pointed out they are kosher, since there is no actual meat involved. But what of the morality of this? Is the idea of eating bacon flavoured crisps kosher?
