A savior is someone who has saved or will save, not someone who offers salvation.

If someone is not aware he needs rescuing, salvation is usless. So here is how salvation from Christ works. I am walking through a forest when suddenly a bear charges me. I am dead for sure, but Christ shoots the bear saving me without my permission.
Then His title as saviour of the world according to you is nulified.
Very Good, look at what is going on! How is all these people going to heaven and hell is expanding the same time! That title was put on Him not from the FATHER but from man or trick of the devil!
Hell is expanding? ROTFLOL. Have you been reading Mary K Baxters book about hell again? As it is written, Christ the Lord will draw ALL men to Him. God has forgivin all sins, or are you incapible of recieving this message?
Go back and study if you do not understand, or know what you are talking about, because even Christ talked about hell and He never said that He will forgive all sins or people!
It is you that needs to study scripture. Christ never warned about a pagan place call hell, He warned the Jews about God's coming wrath through the symbolic use of Gehenna. As for forgiving all sins, you need to read 2Cor5.
Read Isaiah 5 vs 14, Matt 5 vs 22, Matt 10 vs 28, Matt 23 vs 33! Now you go to these and show me why He never talked about the place! Awake up my Friend, and look at John 17 vs 9!
Read them yourself. It is obviouse you need to.
I get it. You have recieved another gospel than the one that the apostel Paul taught. And I get my strength from God so I am never weak.
So will all mankind accept Him?
All this striving everyday makes it sound like a salvation by works gospel. Not sure Christ would agree with you on that one.
Striving to be a good person has nothing to do with works. As the Bible says "know that a person is not justified by the works of the law, but by faith in Jesus Christ. So we, too, have put our faith in Christ Jesus that we may be justified by faith
Well said, JT. But to address DH's point, salvation comes first, but those who follow the law of Love can't help but strive to help (works). Those who do not do works of love are not following Christ.
I agree lone.
Of course you do, and this is why. If you combine a carnal view to scripture with fear, blind ego, self-righteous pride, a hidden desire for vengeance and spark the religious engine with a pharisitical spirit. You get a determined believer of hell.
Sword.. You are speaking of a few amount of people that are called "hypocrites." No true Christian is to live that way. We do not love and serve God out of fear, it is out of love and appreciation for what he has done for all Mankind. Jesus Christ.
The truth is, the majority of people do not become Christians because they appreciate what Jesus has done. They become Christians out of fear that God will burn them in hell if they don't.
How can you prove this??
Anecdotally of course. Having spent 25 years in Churches of varying flavours, avoiding hell was the key theme of the 'gospel', which is no gospel at all. The gospel is that the Father will reconcile all mankind to himself.
They should read 2 Cor 5 more often DH. This may free them from their fears of hell.
