   If you believe in Souls, where do you believe a Soul goes when a person dies ?
   
   There are thoughts and discussions about what is a Soul, where does a Soul come from and can a Soul be destroyed.  Where do YOU believe a Soul goes at death and why ?

   The belief I work with, and it is a belief not a knowing, is that we already straddle a number of dimensions.  We are souls which have precipitated out across what is commonly called an aura.  The aura comprises our Higher Self. Within this are various dimensions of our own personal mind.  Within this lie our emotions.  Within this lies the suble body Russian scientists refer to as the Plasmic Body.  And this last holds together our physical body.   When we 'die' our plasmic body's field cannot hold our physical together and it falls back into the elements from which it is composed: various chemical elements and a lot of water.
   
   So we already exist before and after our physical comes into being. 
   
   The next belief is that what remains - and it is by far and away the largest part of us - for our thoughts are not in our brain but work THROUGH our brain - is still extant.  What dies is the physical.  What remains is a soul with an Astral Body which, if one can believe various writings, goes to the Heaven to which it is qualified to go.
   
   As I say, it is only my belief.  However, it certainly keeps me from worrying about whether I'm imortal or not.   I know I am immortal - as are we all.  And that is a KNOWING.  And that is something else again.

   Nobody truly knows the answer to that question because nobody has died and come back to life to tell where the soul goes when a person a dies. I know that the pineal gland in the brain is the set of the soul and responsible for intelligence, intuition, and sexuality. I know that when a human being is born, dreams a dies a psychedelic called DMT floods the brain causing very intense visualizations. We don't know where the soul goes but we do know that when we die we will experience an dreamlike psychedelic experience.

   Well, first off I believe that our soul doesn't die. I believe that it absorbs into the universe until it's time to be reborn. To me a soul is what makes a person what he or she is...it's what makes them laugh and cry and love....and I choose to believe that that never goes away....that it remains out there somewhere...still laughing, still crying and still loving.

   I'm not certain I would call it a soul, since I'm not sure I believe you retain a sense of personal identity associated with who you are during this lifetime. But, I believe our unique essence moves back and is rejoined with the overall consciousnesses that drives the reality we perceive. I think it is possible to be reincarnated as a human, but not probable. I assume the parts that joined to make me who I am will probably go their separate ways. Maybe part will comprise the consciousness of a rabbit and another will create the unique fragrance of a flower. Maybe part will surface again as a nematode. I definitely don't believe anyone ends up in the common idea of heaven or hell.

   To answer this question, one must access ones belief system.Every belief system usually has its own unique answer. Humanist believe in reincarnation. Atheist believe finality to existence. Christian can become complicated depending on denomination. My belief is based on experience as a child, and on the Word of God, the Bible. There is definitly an afterlife. Based on the the words of Jesus in the parable of the rich man and Lazarus, there is two holding places until the resurrection and judgment (Luke 16:19-31). I have witnessed people dying. There are powerful forces at work that cannot be explained away. I have witnessed Christians dye peacefully, and those caught between here and there fighting with God. Ones life determines where one will go, either to eternal rest and life with God, or separation from Him. I can say this because I know. It does not matter whether one believes in God now, one will become a believer at that time without a doubt.

      Sometimes situations or people (mine the latter) will try to end your life. But because it is not your time, God will send you back. sometimes He allows those situation to happen as a testimony that He is real, and there is a life afterwards.

   Upon death your soul will go to one of two places, it will go to be with Abraham and remain there until judgement, or it will go to hell; where it must remain until judgement!

      No I did not say all poor will go to Abraham and all rich will burn in hell! You missed the underlining statement of it's intent, what it is saying is this; all who chose this world and not the LORD for a season will not inherit the kingdom!

      Do you even have a clue what the parable of Luke 16 is about? If you take it literally as you do, then you have no choice but to believe all the poor go to heaven and the rich to hell.
