    JM.. If we are to live by the Old Testament why are we not still sacrificing animals for redemption, why is divorce frowned upon, do you have an alter in your backyard for the sacrificing of animals.

    I was compairing your love for your children with the belief that God would all His children to be torture forevever. The question was to point bout the stupidity of that belief by compairson.

    this is a part of the "new covenant" as well - all though the "new covenant" is a christian invention - and not one that is biblically based.
