Given the choice, would you rather add three hours to each day, or an extra day to each week?

I remember my father (and the government)talking about 4-day work weeks forty years ago. It never happened. There's enough work, time and people to go round...what's the problem?

A 3-day weekend would be wonderful! Another option would be to have a mid-week day-off to break up the tedium. I know that it could also serve to break up the groove we get ourselves in to work at optimium function, but crowds are lighter then.
