If there be an endless hell, and it was not made before the creation of men, when was it made?

We know, from Genisis, that Lucifer fell after the 7th day of creation. God says that he completed his works on the 6th day and everything was still "very good", meaning nothing had gone wrong yet. Then we know that Adam and Eve ate of the forbidden fruit after being tempted by the snake, Lucifer. It is believed that somewhere between these two moments he was kicked out of heaven and God created hell. Of course some people believe that hell was there during the creation but I just don't believe that. Mathew 25:41 states "Then shall he say also unto them on the left hand, Depart from me, ye cursed, into everlasting fire, prepared for the devil and his angels." We know, based on the verse that God created Hell specifically for the devil and the angels that followed him, so it had to be created between the 7th day and Adam's sin.

Good question Sword. I have never really thought about it but perhaps it was created with the first sin; when Adam and Eve disobeyed God.  Or maybe it's just one of those things we aren't suppose to know.

Would it bring you peace and joy if I told you that it doesnt exist?

Sword if I could believe that, I think I might be happy about it. But the way I read the Bible it does exist. And the way not to end up there is through Jesus.  Just one of those things we will have to agree to disagree on, I guess.

Is your bible written in the original Greek and Hebrew. Beause it gives another message than the english bible you read now.

It's in English because unfortunately I can't read Hebrew or Greek. But I do trust the Spirit to guide me in my reading of The Word and to help my understanding. I don't fear Hell, because I am covered by The Blood.

But do you fear for your family members, loved ones and friends?

Not fear but certainly I am concerned as my husband is an atheist But God has provided so much for us that I have faith that He hears my prayers about the salvation of my lost loved ones. He is a faithful God and He gives us the desires of our hearts

1Tim 4:10That is why we labor and strive, because we have put our hope in the living God, who is the Savior of all people, and especially of those who believe.

Your husband is in good hands.

I know he is Sword. We just disagree on what some verses mean. And that's ok too. As long as we both pray that God give us the understanding we need & be open to what he says. I respect how diligently you stand for what you believe. God Bless.

I don't know exactly what "Hell" is, but I suspect it may be created by those who decide they don't want to return to the spiritual world, but wish to stick with ego and the physical realm.

    "Man" was created twice:

Genesis 1:26 - spirit, in the image and likeness of God

Genesis 2:7 - flesh, from the dust of the ground

This dual nature is emphasized in Genesis 6:3 when it says that God will not always dwell with "man" because he is also flesh. God is only interested in the spiritual component -- the children who look like Him.

Deciding not to return is a matter of choice, not so much God condemning.

    It doesn't exist.

At least that what I understand from Scripture.
