Prayer is vital to America and too many do not offer this simple thing to Him. Pray for those who are not praying, and I will do the same.

Good Friday is considered " Good" because it is when Christ reconciled himself to the world.

But you have not told me why it was necessary. That's what I am questioning. Can't you forgive others without expecting a blood sacrifice? A god should be able to forgive on a whim.

Yes, a commemoration of an execution; however, in Europe the old event is one of a fertility celebration, and is probably why it is seen as a celebration.
