   Can you explain your understanding of the Kingdom of God?
   
   I truely believe there are a large number of different understandings of what God Kingdom really is. I am wondering how many out there have the same understanding. What do you think God's Kingdom is and is not?

   The Kingdom of God is a place of eternal peace and love. It could be heaven to some, but to others it is a state of mind/body here on earth. To be closer to God every day. To fully understand how much God loves you no matter what you do or many times what you do not accomplish.
   Personally the Kingdom of God I envision is a place where I can be with those I love and those who love me. I can be free from the constant pain I live with and would be able to be who God created me to be. I guess I lean towards the philosophy that God created us to be perfect, and too often we are just a poor image or reflection of that. When we enter the Kingdom of God we can fully become the perfect and complete person God created us to be.

      Rev- Are you aware that the very first ever GENTILE to teach on the Kingdom of God to his people is King Nebuchadnezzar, the King of Babylon. Read the Book of Daniel. Chapter 4. Thanks for your answer.

   I've been taught that the kingdom of God is within. Not that there isn't a heaven. But from a spiritual point of view God dwells within us if we are opened to his will.
   Of course that means one has to truly believe God can enter our soul and abide there. What we must do,is love him first .
   
   " If anyone loves me I will keep my word and the father will love him and make his home in him"
   But one needs to be open to the word of God.

      Lor's- your answer reveals a lot. And I too believe the Kingdom of God is within. Jesus Christ said so Himself. But some my ask, How does that work? That's the part that is sometimes hard to explain. Thanks.

   It will always be difficult to explain, my Brother Graceinus.
   We see this in the lives of the Christian Saints. Meister Eckhart, Therese Newmann, the German stigmatist who never ate, Theresa of Avila, St. John of the Cross. There were many more!! Read Brother Lawrence's The Practice of The Presence of God. (Amazon)
   Mystical experiences are not in the realm of the mind. Direct experiences requires purity, one-pointedness, discipline, a life of love and self-giving to mankind and above all prayer, both verbal and interior, and a reliance on God's compassion or Grace. With patience, all will be revealed in time. Simply love, but do not cage love. Let it fly.

      Mystical love is the highest form of love between God and his creation.
      Saint Theresa of Avila explained it as castles.
      She's a hard read. But all these saints discovered the kingdom of God is within us.

   It is releasing our rule and will, and asking the Father to give us His will; "Thy kingdom come, thy will be done." It is God's own activity, and the activity of His will through His people. It is about leaving everything to follow Him.
   
   The fulfillment of the Kingdom of God is revealed in this verse,
   
   And the seventh angel sounded; and there were great voices in heaven, saying, The kingdoms of this world are become the kingdoms of our Lord, and of his Christ; and he shall reign for ever and ever. - Revelation 11:15
   
   The kingdom of God is about moving towards a culmination to eternity. The mustard seed (the kingdom of God) will force its way through the soil (cursed earth) and become the greatest tree (Tree of Life) of all to those who are grafted in Him.
   
   
   The kingdom of God is about restoration from exile and slavery, and God dwelling in the midst, and among His people . It is an invitation for the poor, the children and the weak to come to the King's Table and receive new garments.
   
   So Jehoiachin put off his prison garments. And every day of his life he dined regularly at the king’s table - Jeremiah 52:23
   
   And there shall be no more curse: but the throne of God and of the Lamb shall be in it; and his servants shall serve him: And they shall see his face; and his name shall be in their foreheads.  - Revelation 22:3-4
   
   The kingdom of God is a treasure that can be found in the dire state of this world that will give life to those who want to be part of the culmination of God's ultimate purpose.
   
   It is the physical manifestation of the restoration of God's people to Him.

      Useful. However, I wondered whether the brother wanted a sense of life's goal/purpose, of salvation/heaven, either from experience or one's interpretation. Perhaps he can help here.

      Very well written but I think that there is alot of points that you left out like having a close personal relationship with Jesus who is the King of Kings and the Lord of Lords where God sees all and knows all and nothing is hidden.

      Jesus’ kingdom is a heavenly kingdom (John 18:36 KJV); it does not arise from the world, but breaks in from outside the world, just as Jesus Himself came down from heaven on a mission from the Father.

      Yes I agree that Jesus Kingdom does not arise from this world and breaks from outside this world but His Kingdom is also here on earth as well as in Heaven. His Kingdom is in the Heavenly dimension here on earth and many are walking in his kingdom

      Jesus said before He died, "Verily I say unto you, I will drink no more of the fruit of the vine, until that day that I drink it new in the kingdom of God. ( Mark 14:24-25). This makes it clear that the kingdom is not on earth yet.

      He is here with us now and nobody will know who he is or what his name is or what it means but himself. He is here on earth now setting up his kingdom here on earth and his kingdom is here on earth now. I should know as I live in his kingdom daily.

      The kingdom of God is a physical manifestation, but the invisible spiritual kingdom (grace) is the power of God that works through His bride.

   The Kingdom of God is a monarchy set up by God Himself here on earth as well as in Heaven. Jesus Christ is the King of Kings of this Kingdom and there are other people who rule in this kingdom under Jesus Christ. The kingdom of God is in the highest heavenly dimension here on earth and you can only enter this kingdom if you are walking intimatly with Jesus Christ in the heavnly dimensions. God and the King of Kings who is God sees everything and knows everything and in his Kingdom you are always well taken care of by your King and you are bought and payed for at the price of Jesus Christ's life and death on the cross and his resurection from the dead too. The kingdom of God is like living in Heaven here on earth and you are very special to God and protected from all evil in the world. I live in that Kingdom daily and have the best life ever and am so in love with my King Jesus Christ too!!!
