Why is God only praised for the Good, never blamed for the Bad?

People have often stated that they are offended or at least find it offensive if God is blamed for the Evil in the world (or that happens to people), but praise Him for the Good. Did God not create everything - including Good and Evil? Satan? Did HE Not create Satan? Therefore creating Evil itself? Any one care to explain to me? I'm willing to listen, as this confuses me as I am to believe that God is omnipotent, and Creator of all, but just "not that stuff"? Doesn't make sense

This to everyone who thinks I am trying to be evil ! I am not trying to be that. if I am confused than It is God who sent me delusions and confuses me.Maybe he doesn't care to save me?Or wants me in hell? My mother never loved me ..now God doesn't ?

Very Well Written and agree I liked how you used Joseph's example. God makes good come out of the bad. Voted up.

Understood. Respectfully, though, an all knowing God would have KNOWN that Satan (and Hitler, Pol Pot, Osama) would do just that with his free will. He could have just crushed the mould and got on with better things. Make sense? Not trying to offend

But God created Everything. Including Satan. He is also all knowing, so would know that Satan intended to be Evil, yet still created him. This is what I meant. One can blame Satan all they want, God still created him.

Obviously you don't study your bible very well ! Hold a starving baby in your arms and sing jesus loves you yes I know to them while they die !Explain to them as they die why God let them suffer and starve when he could have easily fed them !

"No where does it state in the bible that God created evil."

    Isaiah 45:7

I form the light, and create darkness: I make peace, and create evil: I the Lord do all these things.

yes.... satan set up as the scapegoat and all because he saw some character flaws in God and spoke up about it. That made God angry and he punished satan and from then on satan was blamed for everything bad while God found a way to get praise !

I am Christian, and this is indeed palatable. God did not *directly* create evil, he created beings capable of evil. Whether said beings were evil or not was/is their own decision.

I don't even know the answer to that question-where did Satan come from? Still studying the Bible and so far have not seen it mentioned in the Old Testament. Great answer btw

I know a woman who had a miscarriage a few years ago; she is now pregnant with twins.

I know this isn't always the case, but all I'm saying is God does have a purpose for everything. We just don't understand it. And I don't blame you; it's hard.

Sorry hun.. I am NOT delusional and I see things for what they are..reality ! I am not being led astray from faith...I am thinking and things do not make any sense. Even when you Christians try to explain stuff it only makes things sound crazier !

JT, why is this account of Satan's fall not mentioned in the Old Testament? According to the gospels, Jesus said he saw satan fall, but you cannot invent a story around a single vague statement.
