I am so, gonna follow you..
Ha, ha, I couldn't stop you and wouldn't try, I wanted to say much more but was too busy being creative with other things, conflict = reaction = change = creation, the engine of it all. Why is knowledge power? Don't answer that here I just posted it.
It truly is consistent. Because of it's inconsistency, it is persistent, it truly never changes, because it always changes. Good answer.
Awesome job! Change is constant, therefore never changes. It truly is the only 1 thing that never changes!
Great answer! Change is the only thing that never changes.. It is constant.
God part 1 was brimstone and fire. God Part 2, is macaroni necklace maker. God Part 3, ancient Jews sailed to America.. God, most definitely changes.
Our interpretation of the past might change but the past is locked and the reality of the past is the only thing that never changes.
A journalist asked a woman about her past, She said her wedding was wonderful, Her dress was white. Her husband replied, the wedding was a disaster, and your dress was yellow. Our interpretation of the past is everything.
Energy never dies, you are correct, however, forms of energy change. Kinetic energy, Potential Energy, etc.
Just to add... Einstein's e=mc^2 equation demonstrates that energy is the same as mass, just in a different form. So if energy never dies neither does mass (like Ashleign said, they can be converted).
Actually energy does die a light shined hits particles and eventually ceases to be.
We use to judge time by using a sundial. Before that, lines etched on a wall with a center point. Now.. We have clocks and digital timers. Time, will eventually stop, as it began.. Sudden.
Some Men desire Men. I used to desire Heidi Klum, I still do, so yea I see where you are coming from. However. Not all men desire women.
The moon is slowly drifting away 2+ inches a year!
Don't knock the poetry. Let her go on wishing. Beautiful wildove5.
Actually the sun and mood won't always be there, nor the earth for that matter. The stars you see aren't really what you see, what you see is hundreds or millions of light years in the past. Those stars might very well not exist anymore.
You're right, The only thing that never changes is change itself, because it is the only constant. It never changes because it always changes.
Which is a total contradiction, since changes have to change, or else it wouldn't be called changes.
Change never changes, because it always changes. Therefore.. Aliens.
Then why do they call it change, if it never changes.
Because it always changes.
They should change it to a compound adjective then and call it always-change.
It would then be assumed after a while.. and people would shorten it to change.
Oh, I get it... The compound word always-change is archaic, and the rules changed from their Neolithic ways; gottcha! What a load... LOL!
Just for clarity, I said that, but for change *itself*, everything *else* is always changing, even if only on the temporal axis.
The world doesn't stand still; everybody knows that. To say that change doesn't change, is a total contradiction by definition. For example: Does the molecular structure of H2O change from the definition of what we call water?
I repeat that I said the only thing that never changes is the STATE SUCH THAT all *else* is ever changing. That is a true constant and a big difference from your point, which is apt but misplaced.
I think you are confusing a noun with a verb, actually, when concerning this question.
The laws of nature have been destroyed by the laws of man. Nature does show as a constant. Nature was present on other planets as well, and were destroyed. Hence Change. Habitats change, as does nature.
Time progresses, therefore changes. :) thanks for the answer.
Thank you Bruce. In college I was asked this answer by a professor. I was told to write a 500 word essay on the question, and ultimately answer it. I studied for 5 weeks. He was flooded with papers about God. and I alone said, Change itself.
Love this one. Especially the edited version of the bible, where Paul is speaking with Jesus in heaven, looking down on the burning souls in hell. Paul says if you love them, why let them burn. Jesus says, they only burn until allowed in heaven.
Yahweh, was named Zeus a time before. He is also referred to as Allah. Therefore he changes.
Zeus is a different God. Yaweh was never referred to as Zeus. That's like saying christmas is a pagen holiday because some other celebration was on the same day.
Christiankrist, Paganism was around before christianity. Christianity took a lot from paganism.
The character of Allah and the character of Yahweh contrast. They are not the same. Christians did adopt a lot of pagan holidays, including Christmas, changing them to fit their beliefs. Christianity is rooted in Judaism, rooted in beginning of time
Yea, and I hear the God from the old testament, you know the genocidal one? Is the old God or a "history." I also heard about a third testament that the garden of eden is in Jackson County Missouri.. God, Gods, Faiths, beliefs they all change.
You took my answer. :)
Good answer :)
I would hope that you change clothes, take baths, and wash your hair. Your hair grows longer, and in most cases grey.. So you do change. Good answer though, I enjoyed it.
Maturity to Immaturity. You cannot know yourself without change in yourself.
Totally sounded poetic, however, the horizon does change, for the man or woman who views it, sees with different eyes.
Great work! If one more person said god, I was going to cry.
God is not proven fact. Though many pray to different Gods. Some believe god is god and christ is god, therefore, God Changes.
Because it always changes.. very good.
Almost! There is only 1 thing.. That never CHANGES..
Life will always find a way...
Life ends with death, therefore changes. Evolution exists, therefore Life changes. You are right Jeff Goldblum, Life.. Finds a way.
I recall saying the 'automation' of life, not that you believe a raptor turned into a turkey.
I actually believe that some forms of raptors did evolve into birds. The movie Jurassic park, did after all have some true fact. Believe it or not, there is a book about how some reptiles evolved into some of the more known birds.
That theory of speciation is so ridiculous!
I can hear the bible thumpers now.. "The fossils are supposedly about 515 million years old. We know this isn't true, because we have only been here 5000 years.
Nothing of the like. A stupid theory that most intelligent biologists know is bogus, has nothing to do with religion.
It is proven fact.
You posted a link.. So shall I..
Good for you; I don't have enough faith or ignorance to think that I used to be a fish that spawned from an angry trilobite via the soup of magic.
Are we falling back to the, "if we evolved from monkeys, why are there still monkeys defense?"
We did not evolve from fish, we evolved from Cro-Magnon Man, who evolved from Neanderthal Man who evolved from Homo Erectus, it goes back pretty far..
Yada-yada! Uh, no. This is not about the monkey thing, I've heard it all before. Even the supporters & theorists can't even agree on your speciation and primordial soup theory; ha!
My primordial soup?
Either way, it is amazing that 'change' is the preferred answer here. Everybody should know that the universe doesn't exist in a stagnant state. People can just say something stupid and call it a philosophy, I suppose; ha!
Greed increases, So does stupidity, but I see where you are coming from.
Jonah, Job, Cain.. These are just some of the people who were "loved by God" Not all babies are born, the sun rises at different angles.
That can change. The sun might die, evolution may stop births (Like that movie "Children of Men") and who knows about God, you just believe in some ancient book that could be someones Imagination, he can't look after 7 billion people.
I couldn't say it better myself. "For God is the same yesterday, today, and tomorrow"
In mortality, things change all the time, we are also, imperfect. Deity is perfect, and needs not to change
There was only one right answer and dellea gave it to you. There is nothing to add.
How can we be sure? According to the Bible Jesus was in a crib, and was mid-age...and for all we know he might have taken over Gods spot when the time correct came.
God, changes, as people believe in different Gods.
Ashleign, God does not change regardless of what beliefs change. Truth is singular & unchanging. What you believe does not change what is, but what is should change what you believe.
If everyone stopped believing in God, God would still exist.
The USA was not founded on Christian Values. It was founded on a freedom from religion, not for it. Go to the Capital Building and look up..
You will see the pagan apotheosis of George Washington.
God has to be changing..... should it be the truth we all go to heaven if we are good... he has to be changing to adapt to the expanding population of those sitting at his feet.... if Quantum Physics is true God is expanding... list goes on
I find it very difficult to believe people don't understand that God is change, God is everything, part of everything and everything changes so change must be at the top of his agenda because it happens all the time, If not how could things improve?.
Mitch I suppose the same could be said about Santa Claus right?
We use to think that the USS Maine was sunk by an undersea mine. It was later determined that a fire in the coal hold caught fire and ignited the ammunition hold. The battleship sank. We used this information to go to war.
That didn't change the past, only our understanding of it.
Our knowledge and understanding can always change but the past is sealed in reality.
Borsia - we are just now learning bout Quantum Physics and the question arises "can we change the past" .... it just may be we can. Strange yes.... but we do not know what we do not know.
I was working on how to answer you, Borsia.. Neil hit the nail on the head. All things made simple with science. Now if we can figure out how to change, change.
I am sure infinity doesn't change it just goes on and on and on like change it's self, mind blowing.
Niel that is quantum theory that it might be possible at any rate it has never been done so that past hasn't changed. And since we can only perceive the past if we do someday change the past it will have been done in the past making it unchanged.
Quantum Mechanics, is fact, not a theory.
Quantum physics is fact being able to alter time and / or the past is theory.
As I said given that we can only see the past even if we somehow altered it, it would be in the past thus the past remains unchanged.
Borsia - trouble is "we do not even know what it is we do not know"
Time is an illusion..... time is is our conscious awareness in the field of vibrations ( all there is, was, & will be is nothing more than a field of vibrations, energy & fr
Time is a completely human concept that again however doesn't change the past as we accept the definition as that which has already happened.
As I said we can only see the past and it never changes regardless of time or how we depict it.
Borsia - The fact that is has not been done does not mean it is impossible to do.... The past may well be changeable, this we do not know for certain. Based on what we know it can not be changed... the unknown awaits
Only when something has been done does id transcend from theory to fact.
But if someone did eventually travel in time, time travel would be in the past as would be anything they did.
It would likely destroy the present. Butterfly effect 101.
We just don't know what we don't know. :-)
You are right.. Without God, there would have been no crowd control, without fear of reprisal. This is also why many books of the bible were essentially edited out, from fear of people reading that they can do as they please. Your god, does change.
I should hope not! I think the original recipe involved the coca plant (not to be confused with the cocoa plant)
Oh, that's right!! Ha-ha!! I wasn't thinking that original! More like 20 years ago.
Death Changes, the way you die can change. Not everyone dies the same way. Taxes change as they go up and down every year, mostly up for the past few though. Thanks for the answer.
Oh, I didn't realize this was a quiz. My aunt's hairstyle doesn't change. Ever.
Intolerance changes, one who is intolerant can learn to become tolerant. Types of intolerance change, therefore, intolerance changes.
That's very true, but what I meant is that we're in the year 2013 and everywhere you look you still see intolerance. It's alive and well. All you have to do is read the comment section of a news article. There's ugliness and intolerance everywhere.
You answered it! Great Job.
If you were happily married, you would not come on to me. :0} jus' sayin'
