I have pondered this question the first time when I was a kid. And I must have change my answer maybe 50 times or so since then. Not that I expect something like this to ever to really happen to someone. But if I had the chance to really do something positive for the whole world, this would be my only chance. How about you. What would you do with it.? Please note: I will delete any sarcastic or insulting answers.

taburkett- I can understand why one would be fearful with that kind of power in one man. I would think who ever it would be would be wise and love God with all of his or her heart.. Many thanks.
Fear has nothing to do with it. But intelligence has everything to do with it.
Intelligent people know that it requires an expert when you want the job completed correctly. Anything less than that will result in an unfavorable ending.
taburkett- That may be a good point. Thank you
And I am reminded of the servant who hid his talent under a bushel and it increased not one bit. And Jesus talked of the servant being whipped for that failure.
So, you think you cannot learn? Wake up. Walk on water
BigJutesMags- Thank you for your honest answer. I don't know if 24 hours would even be enough time to use all of His power even if we wanted too. But I like your answer. Blessings.
Beautifully humble. But if God gave it to you, wouldn't you want to do good? Wouldn't you hunger to learn? We already have these abilities. We just need the humility, responsibility, faith and love to let them shine.
BuffaloGal1960- Thank you for sharing. When ever Jesus healed someone the results were immedate and a 100% success every time The reason is He NEVER had ANY doubt. Many blessing to you.
Dan- My question is not to imply that a man steps into the authority as God. This would in my opinion be wrong. My question is if God chose someone to use His power for a day what would that person do with it. Thanks for you answer. Many blessings.
My point was not about authority - I was saying that if you had God's power this should also give you the knowledge to know what to do with it and you likely wouldn't do anything different because what is already in place is, by definition, perfect.
Dan- I stand corrected. Thank you.
Beautiful, Dan. Perhaps God's perfection was derailed by one special "crime" which caused Him to bring the Flood. A similar crime caused Him to rain fire on Sodom & Gomorrah
Gat Thin for Good- Thank you for your answer. Some who have also answered feel the same way. God bless
Is this humility or irresponsibility? If God gave such a gift to me, I would learn everything I could about doing my best with it and multiplying the gift.
Don't hide your talents.
Porshadoxus- God is a great God and as odd as this may sound I don't believe He would force anyone to accept His power. After all we do have a choice. Most answer so far seem to agree with you. Thanks for your answer and God bless.
And yet Jesus said that we can do the miracles he did and even greater. Moving mountains is effortless. Any effort would result in immediate failure. That is the essence of our true nature -- the effortlessness of true, egoless creation
Jesus did not say greater miracles, but greater works meaning that the Gospel message would be taken from Jerusalem to the world. No one has superceded the miracles of Jesus Christ, even the Apostles.
Peggasuse- I have to agree with you. And there are times when even simple things in life a kind word or a smile can make a difference in someone's day. Thanks you very much for your answer.
cat on a soapbox- You are right when you say the át power brings out the worst in people. Your answer is like most who have answered so far. Thank you.
As Lord Acton said, power tends to corrupt, but that is true only so long as we have ego -- the heart of selfishness -- the wedge we drove between our true selves and our Father in heaven. Without ego is love.
Make Marks- Thank you for your answer. God Bless
Disapperinghead- What would be so worng with this: Ask God what is plan and will for that day is and with that power Has gives you for that day follow through with whatever His will and plan was for that day. Simple. Thank you
aeraaf patel- A number of people who have answered stated they would simplely give the power back. And I can understand their reason for it. Thanks a lot for your answer. Many blessing
PandN- As I mentioned in another comment. My question was not to imply that a person steps into the authority and be God. This would not be a good thing. The question is, If God chose a person and gave His power, what would the person do with it.
You said, "complete power" in your question. Having complete power would include His authority too, would it not? That was the distinction that I made.
For make belief sake, I would decline for the fact that I am a fallible vessel.
PandN again thanks. I believe there is a difference (and I could be wrong) between Authority and Power. Authority, meaning the position one holds. Power, meaning the force or might. And my question is strickly for make belief sake. God bless.
Amethystraven- Now this is the first earth friendly answer I've seen to this question. I very much thank you.
Darrell Roberts- Many thanks for your answer.
I like it. I am on that beach and I have burritos and sand buckets and 1000 children just to hang out with you. With you we do not even need sunscreen but will lotion each other up just the same. Our hands are in the air and we dance happy happy....
Eric- Are you on vacation again. You just had one.
Writer Chuch- Thank you for your answer. I like to think that we all have some degree of compassion but none of us will every reach His level of wisdom. Again thanks.
MarioBallo- Thank you for your honest answer. God bless
SuhanaS-Thank you for your reply to my question. Many blessing.
ncwriter-Clearly God's word reveals His plan to remove all evil from this world. And He has set His own timing to do so. I have no doubt He can and will. Thanks for your answer and many blessings.
God's purpose was always to give us free will. What you are proposing is that God intended for us to be automatons. God did not make a mistake. He wants us to freely choose Him. With free will comes the potential for both good and evil.
Could it be that the suffering and violence are also part of God's beautiful creations? He created us in His image and likeness and He is NOT Homo sapiens. That would mean that anything that happens to these bodies does nothing to His children
asiawebguru- I guess that would be a big move. It sounds like you would want to make a place of peace. Thanks for your answer. God bless.
zenixe- I thank you for sharing your answer with us.
Have a good day.
wheatbaybay- I sounds to me like you would fully enjoy the whole 24 hours of it. Thanks for your answer.
I would also use my power to bring back love ones that have passed on. But when I think about it I would wonder if that would be something they would want? I have always heard that they are in a better place than we are.
chevyssbowtie- You're not alone with your answer. There are others who pretty much feel the same way. Many thanks for your answer and God bless.
nightwork4-Well I guess that is where we will have our difference of opinion. There is one and only one God. Have a good day.
unverm- I agree. Thank you for you insight.

PlatinumOwl4- I would think by eliminate those it would automaticly eliminat greed too. Thank you for your answer. God bless.
Beautiful. What you describe is eliminating ego, but that is what robbed us of our powers to begin with. Ego is the forbidden fruit -- the dichotomies of physical existence.
Sounds like the 60's love-ins revisited! -lol.
I'm not a war monger by any stretch, but DO believe that conflict is a natural part of our existence. It spurs thinking and problem-solving. It exists in all living species.
Ben Blackwell- I think your answer is more common than you might think. Most answer so far is much like yours. They would either give it back or not accept it for different reasons. And I'm beginning to agree with them and you.
Cool. You may be right that the answer is more common, but it may only be more common here: where writers give much though to this question and others like it. If you pull people off the streets, so to speak, it may be a different story.
Yes, you may be right. God bless
I suppose I would ask for God's wisdom to go with the power.
If the rebirth of Israel was to fulfill God's promise, and modern Israel couldn't have happened without the Holocaust, could such evil have been part of God's plan
