Matthew 26, Mark 14, and Luke 22 has Jesus at day one of the passover, the day when it was customary to sacrifice the lamb, before he was arrested. According to them he was crucified on day two which is not when the lamb was normally sacrificed. But John 18 & 19 has Jesus arrested, in custody, and crucified BEFORE the passover on the day of preparation, the day before the special sabbath which precedes passover.

It's about timing I'm concerned Eric. The gospels contradict each other. Three state he shared the Passover meal at the appointed time, the other that he was crucified before passover.
Buddy --- do you open "Christmas" presents on Christmas eve or Christmas morning or evening??? When Christ changed water to wine at a wedding party by all accounts it was the 2nd day of party!! The date, the hour the time is ritual made of man ----
There was that guy with a cell phone, and he calculated the exact hour and set his alarm. Oooops I am sorry they did not even have clocks back then!!! A calendar that was exact???? Come on -- What day is Christmas?
My point is Luke explicitly states that the room for Passover was prepared, Jesus then arrived and shared the meal with them using the lamb sacrificed on the first day. But John explicitly states Jesus was crucified before Passover. One is incorrect.
