Some people would say Las Vegas is the place! Others would say any large city (New York, Chicago, Los Angeles, Miami, San Francisco, or any other major metropolis) is likely NOT to espouse Christian lifestyles.
However all of these cities are spread apart from one another. There is no set of states in a (single region) of the country that one could refer to as "The Sin Belt"
Yes. But it is impossible to make a generalization. So many in this country have turned their backs on God. Starting at the "top" all the way down. It is really a very sad situation. Things have gotten bad, but many refuse to see the writing on the wall. I'm afraid it is only going to get worse.
The Northwest and New England states tend to have fewer churches and greater numbers of people who do not espouse any particular religion. Some might include the Western "frontier" states.
It would depend on what you mean by opposite.
The Bible Belt contains its own evils. Likely there are some righteous souls there, but there are also many who follow ego as did the Pharisees.
There is likely not one place that is entirely righteous, because the righteous would tend to spread out to help others return to spirituality and unselfishness.

As a generalization, do Americans have too much pride in some things? Is it better to have pride or be humble? Can you be humble and still defend your country? What are the benefits of pride?

What does it mean to be Righteous? Can a person truly be righteous by their own works or is it a "God Thing"? I have met people who seem to believe that if one gives to charity or other good works that is a form of righteousness. What do you think and why?
