In the Bible, at Ezekiel 38:2, it speaks of Magog, a nation, who will be a leader of an alignment

... of nations that will move to destroy the Jewish State of Israel.  Such a nation is geographically located North of Caspian and Black Sea ... what is this nation known as today (and is currently in another Cold War with the US)?

Well, Russia, of course. But don't think that America is any better, because they "oppose" Russia.

Obama's rhetoric has become increasingly critical of Israel and complimentary to the Arab states. But it's not a religious thing so much as a geopolitical thing.

We are definitely in the end times. It took the birth of modern Israel to set things in motion. And would the birth of modern Israel have been possible without the Holocaust? Many Americans helped the Nazis, even after WW2 started. This includes Prescott Bush, father and grandfather to US presidents.

American corporatocracy murdered 3000+ people on 9/11 and blamed it on their convenient patsy as an excuse to go to war with them. If America were a country of God, then things would be entirely different.

I first knew with a certainty that we were in the End Times when the Great Star named "Wormwood" spread its pestilence across a third of the world in 1986. "Wormwood" in Ukrainian is "Chernobyl."

Thank you so much, lone77star, for taking the time to give such an interesting answer. Yes, of course, Russia.  I most certainly agree with you on one point...we are in the End Times. Blessings

Well the Assyrians came from the North and destroyed the state of Israel and 9 tribes were dispersed throughout the know World. After the death of Alexander the Great, the Greek empire split into four factions and one of those came down from the North and occupied Israel. Roman legions under Tiberius came down from the North utterly destroyed Israel and Jerusalem. Hadrian then set about wiping all traces of Israel from the map. So the Magog prophesy already happened and Russia today is a single state with no allied nations of any significance.

For further reading and a different take on this issue, you might want to take a look at Joel Richardson's, Mideast Beast. He states that Gog is the Anti-Christ, rather than a specific nation, and that surrounding nations and ultimately, all nations will come against Israel due to the worship of the beast. He believes that Islam will play a major role in the end times. He further states that "the popular interpretation was born not so much out of a careful exegesis of the text, but rather, out of need to make it fit into a previously held and well-developed narrative." But, this is Richardson's interpretation on end times--Gog and Magog.  http://www.amazon.com/Mideast-Beast-Scr … 1936488531
