My opinion is that The One World Star is symbolic of the secular world. The world in which all belief systems are acceptable and protected unless you have a particular point of view that is in disagreement with all or part of that regime.
This would be a system that would stand for very little in order to include as many varieties of acceptable behaviors and philosophies under the same banner so that as few as possible are offended.
This would be commercially acceptable so that products represented by this symbol may be non-offensive to a majority of buyers.
The problem with a symbol that represents a world system must be so bland that in reality it stands for nothing meaningful at all.
