If you love serving in ministries, in which type(s) of ministries do you love serving?

There are so many wonderful ministries one can serve in to help others, i.e., helping the homeless, abused or battered women, the elderly, children's ministries ... and so on.  The opportunities are endless for one to serve. If you do serve, in which types of ministries do you love serving?  Thank you for answering.

Faith, I have served extensively in Women's Ministries and love it with a passion. Young women have been my focus most recently.  I take the assignment personally that older women should teach the young women. (Titus 2).

However, as a grateful response to God for life and health, I am willing to serve wherever my talent is useful.

Be encouraged, as you also with  heart for God are an encouragement to others!

Hi MsDora, I also love serving in Women's Ministries as well, and I can see how you would be such a Godly mentor to young women with your gifts He has given to you to glorify Him. I have served in a wonderful ministry to women coming out of prison.

Faith Reaper, I have served in a number ministries at different times, but I have a special love for prayer, even when I was a young Christian. My heart is in the prayer ministry. Presently, I am prayer coordinator in my local church. I have a sense of place in the prayer ministry, as I know that is where God wants me to be.

Yes, there are challenges, but I am continually motivated to move forward, The knowledge that, "the earnest (heartfelt, continued) prayer of a righteous man makes tremendous power available ...(James 5:16, AMP.), inspires me to pray and receive answers.

    Blessings.

I help the most helpless and that would be children. If they receive help in time, they can get on the right path and still have a good life.

Awesome Sri T, those are such lovely thoughts to think on and more importantly to serve those precious little helpless children. They certainly need a lot of love to get on that path and I am glad you are loving those helpless children.  God bless.

I've served in different ministries over the years.  Homeless and food banks  have been my number one effort since I was a teenager.  However, now that I have a son with Autism, I am going to start serving a special needs ministry at my local church.

Hi Crafty! Ministries that fall under Matthew 25:35-40 are awesome and where my heart is to serve too.  Oh, you would be such a blessing to those with special needs, as that is where your heart is now!  God bless.

Faith, my ministry is inspirational writing.  I made so many mistakes when I became a Christian, that I totally destroyed my son's faith in God which is a burden I carry every day of my life.
I let religion run me rather than submit myself to God.
Time and space will not allow me to tell you how many times I was such a fool, being self-righteous, marching around the house, driving the devil away, while my son and daughter rolled their eyes, telling co-workers I was burdened for them and inviting them to church, ....it goes on and on.
So now it is not my talk, it's my walk.  I can 'talk' about God through writing and those who want to read it can.
I've asked God to put on my heart if I am to serve.  IF I were ever to volunteer, I think I would love to help out in hospitals.
But right now, writing is my ministry.  Thank you for a great question, love Sparklea  smile

Wow, Sparklea, what a powerful testimony precious friend and thank you for sharing. Yes, it most certainly is our walk and then we do not even have to say a word. You certainly would be a blessing to all serving in a hospital.  Hugs & Love to you
