For a Christian believer, how many believe that our words matter and decide our destiny?

I believe they do make a difference. Indeed by our words we who have accepted Jesus into our life, that process was accomplished by our words of faith. Our faith mixed with our words creates or destroys our life. Do you agree?

Proverbs 18:21 "The tongue has the power of life and death, and those who love it will eat its fruit."
If we speak with faith and confidence, things manifest, and we get  messages in many natural ways. However, sometimes the answer is "no" or "not in this way," or "do this first..."
    Good question!

It's not just casual words. Rather, it is detailed planning and determination. Some words happen quickly, others take a long time and require repetition. So it is a matter of continuous faith that the desire will materialize.

Words of humans mean little. The feelings we feel are what matter. If we hate others (feeling) but say we love them (words), then we have condemned ourselves.

Most people who pray, ask God with feelings of doubt and fear, so they receive more reason to doubt and fear. God answers all prayers instantly and in the affirmative. We humans are too rarely aware of what we are feeling (have faith in).

But now, in this era of humanity, Ego has reached its saturation point. The need for spiritual things is awakening in many people across the globe. There are two paths -- one of suffering and one of wisdom.

    I choose wisdom:

    Your words are powerful.

God created mankind in His Image.  In the beginning, He spoke  the world into the existence, and it was manifested.  Consequently we have the same creative power with our word.  Read in the Bible discussing the Tower of Babel.  The people spoke their desire (Genesis 11:3-4); but the critical verse (Genesis 11:5) stated that the Lord went to see the city and the tower that the children of men "built".  Before they had placed one brick, the Lord Himself admit that their goal will be accomplished.

Even atheists and agnostics agree in self-help books about the power of the tongue and that it create life or death (Proverbs 18:21).
