If God keeps testing me and I keep failing, why keep testing?

If God keeps causing me to endure unbearable tragedies in order to test my faith, and every time I FAIL, what is the point of continuing to put further tragedies upon me? Being omnipotent, does He not know, by now, that every time He does this I will lose my faith in Him? Is He just trying to goad me into cursing Him, so that I will be condemned forever?

Lela, I should have wrote this question in third person instead of first person. I want to know why believers still hold on to this illogical concept. I don't believe in any divine entities.

John, this is the type of evasive folly I expected to hear from believers. I guess terms like "omniscience" have no real meaning to you, huh?

Actually, it was these kinds of illogical concepts that drove me to atheism. I am, in fact, an atheist.
