As a Christian do you believe once saved always saved?

I think scripture prove this false but wonder what others think?

Norine it is wonderful to recieve grace and mercy, a gift is more appreciated when we acknowledge the one who gives it. in Jesus case he was a gift to us from Jehovah John 4:34My food is to do the will of him who sent me and to finish his work.

That is true and I think we can clearly see ones today giving their lives knowing this to be true. (Even ones so very young.) It is not an easy road for many but they know or have a good idea what is beyond this life.

But your comment makes me think of the scripture where they say did I not heal and cast out demons in your name and Jesus says, "Depart from me; for I never knew you."

Meaning to me they were never saved.

Yes; we have to always ask ourselves who it is He is talking to in every instance. In the OT & in Revelation after church has been taken most likely the Jew as it was from the beginning. We have them to thank for this opportunity for us to get in
