A verse above that say it isn't god's image on the tithe but Cezar's while Genesis 1:26 say all man are in the image and likeness of god, thus, we are to give ourselves in serve of god (John 3:8) and not other man is the meaning of your verses.

Tim, being a "believer" is quite different from "one in the likeness of the christ" which Christian means. The man called christ was a wandering messenger as all reborn to his likeness, John 3:8 tells us, Christians are.

I am sure you are speaking of churches with which you feel you are familiar. Saying "the church doesn't use it as it was designed" is a broad brush painting of all churches as not being obedient to the intent of the law. Some are, some will be.

Demas, with the Kingdom [director] of [from] Heaven [god] being within us (Luke 17:21), are we obeying the god within or some "glory seeking" man working to control the people in general?
