II Corinthians 4:18 says "While we look not at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen; for the things which are seen are TEMPORAL, but the things which are not seen are ETERNAL."
This verse sums it up for me! I, like every other woman, want my children to be productive citizens in this world and everyone to become sons of God in the next! Therefore, I would like to be known (to God) for "drawing souls unto Him!"
James 5:20 says "Let him know that he who converteth the sinner from the error of his way shall save a soul from death, and shall hide a multitude of sins." WoW! That should give us all "motivation" to "draw souls to Christ!" Yes, we love Him and because of our love for Him, look at the "benefits" that come with doing what you desire to do anyway because of your love for Him!
Luke 15:10 says "Likewise, I say unto you, there is joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repenteth!" WoW! Another benefit! How grateful I am just knowing that I've made "joy in the presence of the angels of God over one sinner that repented!" Only by doing what my heart desires!
Strange stuff, huh? Not if you "Walk in the Spirit!" II Peter 3:9 says "The Lord is not slack concerning his promise, as some men count slackness, but is long-suffering toward us, NOT WILLING THAT ANY SHOULD PERISH, but that all should COME TO REPENTANCE." This is also my desire!
