About 58% would vote for God but only if that God came out and said "All of your religions are wrong, believers now follow x religion, the real religion". I say 58% because the 2015 polls show that 42% of Americans are not affiliated with religion.

I don't know, if you look at God's track record and experience there has been a lot of errors along the way with all those wars started and/or justified in God's name and everything.  "He" hasn't been very clear about which version of himself is right and he seems to change his face to appease whoever is talking to him. Apparently he's a major panderer and a bit of a flip flopper. He makes a good politician in some ways for sure, but as a discerning voter I'd have to fully vet those running against him as well to determine the "lesser of evils" to vote for.

If God ran for President, then he would cease to be God!
Every person who contests election, claims that he wants to serve society but they have personal ambitions as well. They have to talk negative about their opposition candidates. God would do the same and thus would  be counted in the same category and would be judged like any other person who is contesting.

Yes, I see an analogy in Christ's being judged long ago.  He will have the personal ambition of what's best for his counrtry but they may not believe him.  Yet depending on the receptivity of the times to spiritual guidance, he may get elected.
