What hypocrisy are you referring to? Are you talking about people who attend church and then go out and sin? According to the Bible, "All have sinned".
What religion are you referring to? There are different religions with different practices and different beliefs, and not all believe in a deity. Once again, what hypocrisy are you referring to?
Believing is a choice that all people have a right to. I choose to believe and am able to find comfort, peace, and hope in a chaotic world, a world that became chaotic when people chose to discard religion. If you have never experienced true religion, you cannot possibly understand what I am talking about.
All religions encourage moral and humane behavior that society needs more of. Two important morals most or all religions teach is that nobody is perfect (all have sinned) and to treat others the way you want to be treated. So, the hypocrites you are referring to are normal people who sin. They are just people who are willing to admit their wrongs and try to do better.
I've noticed a lot of atheistic comments and questions on Hubpages lately. Are atheists feeling threatened or something?
Judge not, lest you be judged yourself. And in the way that you judge, you will be judged, and your standard of measure, you will be measured by it.
I won't bother following this question, because it wasn't specific enough to take up email space. Perhaps if you could explain exactly what you mean, I can give you a better answer.
