It is an act of loving kindness that God doesn't allow Himself to be seen with our literal eyes


How could we even stand to be in the ultimate brilliance and presence of God literally? God created the Sun in the heavens above, yet we cannot even indirectly view without eye protection, the glare of the Sun, without causing significant damage to our eyes. The Sun would be like a firefly in His Han Our body could not endure for a second the intense power, the brilliance and unimaginable energy that comes from God. We would probably disintegrate or evaporate instantly, that's why it's a loving kindness and great love on God's part not to literally allow Himself to been seen, Exodus 33:20

    The key point of this thread is that we puny humans could not stand to see God literally. There is no doubt that we can get to know God by His creations and by the fruitage of God's spirit displayed by humans toward others.
