Respect is a good place to be. This I will practice. Thank you.
Well you don't need to 'respect' them or what they actually say or think. You just just need to respect that fact that you are both different and neither of you will change, so just put differences aside and try to find some common ground.
Thank you, I just want to be a part of healing our Nation at a time of amnomosity.
So sorry to hear about your garden and the gossip. I too live in a diverse neighborhood and I enjoy learning about others cultures
Thank you for your honesty and call toward connection through thoughtful listening and openness to learning about "other". I like the idea of "bearing" with one another.
Did Jesus "bear" with another (Matt23)? NO!
HE told TRUTH!
Isn't that what we're all really looking for; REAL?
Something or Someone who is really; TRUTHFUL w/o ulterior motives?
In response to Norene, when I talk to people with different points of view both people believe they have the truth.
That's what discussion is all about. There's either right or wrong (ICor10:21)! We can't "agree to disagree" cuz one errs!
Does this Q pertain to pic in Congress? Why would a "child" think such? What caused his thinking? Something influenced!
I have thought about what Norene has said about there being only "right" or "wrong". There was a time in my life when I thought I was so right and as I have grown a little older I came to realize how wrong I was. Now I am cautious about being right.
II Pet1:3: "According to his divine power hath given unto us ALL THINGS that pertain unto LIFE & GODLINESS, through the knowledge of him..." (HIS WORD)! Therefore, if you have a Q as to "right" or "wrong," it can be found in Scripture!
