One line of thought says the Old Testament is morality focused while the New Testament is compassion. A study conducted stated from their findings, "Liberal Christians tend to believe that Jesus is more conservative than they are on moral issues, while conservative Christians believe he is more liberal." Do those contribute to political divide since Christians are both Republicans and Democrats? Just wondering . . .

NO HE DID NOT, Jesus said;
Matt 10:34 34 "Do not think that I came to bring peace on earth. I did not come to bring peace but a sword.
HE cane to divide the world and set up the KINGDOM OF GOD ON EARTH
this is aTOTAL FALSE USE OF THE SCRIPTURE AND TOTAL ERROR
Charlie, I really like you but when you speak as though you are anointed and others "False and in Error" it just kind of seems like you think you speak for God to us stupid unfaithful people. If you want people to believe as you do...
Charlie, care to tell me how it was false?
I agree with most of what you said. But your liberal conclusion doesn't make sense to me. Please don't feel sorry, if you mean me. I love God and his son. I think of this scripture. The truth will set you free. There is nothing feel sorry for.
there was and is NOTHING LIBERAL ABOUT JESUS CHRIST THE SON OF GOD
What lousy labels. On a world level they mean absolutely nothing. In the US liberal means more gov. In Vietnam it means less gov. Silly words that have lost meaning at all.
