For me, physical life is a miracle by itself. Imagine, all organs of our body working together perfectly in synchronicity. Life happens automatically, every minute, every second, 24/7, whether we like it or not! Then, against that backdrop, we make our own miracles- do we choose to live a joyful or a joyless life? What could be a greater miracle than that. . . freedom to be as we choose to be? Thus, I am just so thankful for every breathe I take.
Of course, there are occasional huge miracles (the usual connotation of miracle) like being saved from harm, healing from terminal illness or even escaping death; winning the lottery; experiencing the unusual or the unexpected; and many more. And I must be extra ecstatic and thankful for them, if and when they occur, of course. Who wouldn't be? But when I'm already experiencing ordinary miracles at the core, I truly believe, those so-called extraordinary external miracles are mere icings on the cake; huge cracks of opportunities which can either draw me in closer towards or farther away from the essential miracle.
Thank you for your question. And may we all enjoy a truly miraculous life . . heaven on earth experiences, indeed!
