hell a catholic place to be lol. There is no hell as wiggling in a lake of fire forever, don't believe those who try to tell you otherwise they are brainwashed by old old catholic doctrine that depicts a god of harsh cruelty and misjudgments. Often forever and ever is interpreted eon or age or for a while. If we think hard, why would god have a place where sinners, terrible sinners and not so terrible sinners are tormented forever and ever. Jesus and God are the same. LOVE. The only real sin is not accepting jesus as savior and thereby not entering into a personal relationship with his son and the father. Get it father, what father punishes forever? we are invited into a family arrangement by a loving father and a brother, jesus. The lake of fire is the end of every spirit that enters therein. extinguishment. destruction, perish. over. done deal. sorry u dont get heaven and immortality. Immortality is reserved for those who obtain eternal life from the father. If a spirit is going to be tormented forever and ever then they must have immortality too, which is not scriptural. Nothing in a fallen state receives immortality Gen 3:22,23, romans 22,23 and John 3:15 That whosoever believeth in him should not perish, but have eternal life.
perish: 1) to destroy
a) to put out of the way entirely, abolish, put an end to ruin
b) render useless
c) to kill
Therefore just the evidence of immortality and eternal life put to death the idea of a place of torment forever and ever.
Believe in the Lord Jesus, accept his love and understand that you serve a risen saviour who loves you with a zealous love.
He really does love and desires that ALL be saved.
The second death is just that death. the end, deceased, ceases to function, obliteration. Fire is the bible mostly represents the presence of god (acts 2, moses and the bush) or the judgment of god (sodom)
