The name "Yahweh" refers to Jesus, the Son whereas the name "Abba (I believe)" refers to God, the Father. I'm not trying to sound arrogant or cocky, just figured you would want to know if you didn't already, and if you didn't, no big deal. Now you do.
To answer your question, according to the Bible, yes. Being a follower of Jesus Christ, we are to be as Christ-like as we can by following the will and law of God. We are to be obedient to His law, but also to His direction in our own lives. Just as God directed the life of Jesus, we are to let Him direct our lives as well.
Of course, we can't be perfect. We will always have sin in our lives. We will always make mistakes. There is just no getting around that, and any christian that tries to tell you different is misleading you. We just have to do the best we can. The best way we can do this is by getting to know Him. We have to know who Christ is if we are to be like Him. So we read the Bible, learn what we can, talk to Him through prayer, and stay open to His direction. By doing this we can minimize our sins by becoming more obediant to God.
Most importantly, get your teachings from God, not man. There is nothing wrong with getting teachings and guidance from man if they are getting thier information from God. But when you think about it, you are still getting your teaching from God, just vicariously through man. But it is far easier to get your teaching and guidance directly from God because you can fully trust His Word. That way, you'll know how to compare what other people say to the Bible, and if it doesn't match up, you'll know that the information you received from the person is wrong. Then you can inform them, in a non-prideful way, so they have the correct informtion along with you. Just like what I corrected you with in the beginning. I didn't want to sound arrogant at all, but I wanted you to have the correct information. And if I was wrong in the information I gave you, I would want to know so I could have the correct information. As christians, our quest for truth should go beyond pride. We shouldn't care if we are corrected, but in fact we should rejoice when we are corrected because it brings us another step closer to God Almighty.
I hope this helps. I you have any questions, feel free to ask. God bless.
