God has set a time when he will turn 'his attention' to the Jewish Nation. We know this from any number of Scriptures, but Daniel 9:24-27 is very specific about this.
We fast approach this 70th week of Daniel, when God will complete His business with "Daniel's People" (the Jewish Nation) and "Daniels Holy City" of Jerusalem. The outcome for each person within that Nation will depend on the choice that these individual's will make at that time.
They, as a Nation rejected Christ before. And Jesus said to them: "For I tell you, you will not see me again 'until' you say, "Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord." Matt 23:39
They will indeed say that at the end of the 70th Week spoken of in Daniel, when Jesus returns. We know this from Zech 12:10; "And I will pour out on the house of David and the inhabitants of Jerusalem a spirit of grace and supplication. They will look on me, the one they have "Pierced" and they will mourn for him as one mourns for an only child, and grieve bitterly for him as one grieves for a firstborn son."
Even as they grieve over the realization that they had "pierced" their True Messiah; Christ will be delivering those who accept him "on that day."
The Jewish people are still beloved by God, and soon He will regather them all to their own land for the culmination of the end times! God already knows who will accept His Son and so be saved, their names are already written in the Lamb's Book of life.
