Keeping the Sabbath is one of the ten commandments, part of the Law of Moses.  Christians are not bound by the Law of Moses.  Christians are commanded to meet on the first day of the week, Sunday because that is the day Jesus rose from the dead.

Are Christians bound by the other 9 commandments or are they free from them as well?

Where are we commanded to keep sunday? The places where paul talks about the sabbaths plural is refering the the festivals, which in several places in the old testament is referred to as sabbaths. When the bible talks about saturday sabbaths, it talks about ever sabbath. Never plural. There is no place in the new testament wher it actually says don't keep the sabbath.

Christians do keep the Sabbath. Sunday is the Christian Sabbath, just like Saturday is the Jewish or Hebrew Sabbath.

What gives you the idea that Christians are not bound by the laws of Moses? Do you think a Christian can kill or steal or have an adulterous lifestyle or ignore God. Get real. The laws of Moses the 10 commandments of God are followed by every Christian it is only Muslims that think they are exempt, so they can hijack a plane and crash it into towers killing thousands.

Sunday is not the sabbath for Christians or anyone else.  The sabbath by definition is the 7th day.  It's not Jewish, it's God's holy day.  Ex ch 20 provides the def- it's the 7th day.  You can't change it to Sunday, Monday, etc.

The Sabbath or seventh-day of the week is a reminder of the law. We are saved by grace. The law came by Moses, but grace came through our Lord Jesus Christ. John 1:17

Christ rose on the first day of the week. That speaks of resurrection.

The Sabbath speaks of rest. We rest in the Finished Work of the Lord Jesus Christ on the cross. Jesus Christ is our Sabbath-rest. Matt 11:28-29. The Sabbath is not just a day of the week. It is a Person.

In the Middle East, Friday is the weekly holiday. Many Christians gather for rest and worship on that day. They cannot gather for worship on Sunday, which is a working day.

The Seventh Day Adventists keep insisting on the sanctity of the seventh day Sabbath, not realizing that the Sabbath has been fulfilled in Christ and His Finished Work.
