Just a bit skeptical but it is better to prepare by doing good things to fellow men and by exercising faith in Christ Jesus and God the Father to secure a place in the "post apocalypse" scenario if ever there will be such scary thing to happen in our lifetime.

Not another 2012 question, are we going to get these right up to when it is all over and done with and 2013 is safely under way?

Mike S   I think the answer to your question is yes I’m afraid as we get closer the frequency will definitely increase and worse I’m sure the media is planning all sorts of Doom and Gloom scenarios for our delight and entertainment.

I suppose there are a lot of people out there genuinely scared by the whole thing and will spend the time up to then on their knees praying or whatever else they do.   Some groups might even throw a few 2012 Dinner Dance and Virgin sacrifice in an attempt to forestall the event.

However I suspect that for the vast majority of us we will not worry ourselves unduly one way or the other safe in the knowledge that 2012 is just an arbitrary number based upon someone’s back calculation to the birth year of Jesus Christ.  So if you are a non Christian the number has no significance whatsoever.

If you think that the Mayan prediction was right about 2012 just ask yourself were the Mayan even aware of Jesus and or the date he was born ?  So by their calculations 2012 may already have gone... or won’t arrive just yet.

i don't believe it even for a minute but it will help religions to get followers and movie makers will make a bundle on movies that relate to it.

The reason I don't believe it is because of the media. The media hypes up everything. That's their job. 2012 is another way to get people to watch the news and media. Television companies are filling slots by pushing 2012 apocalypse. We were told that all computers would crash in the year 2000. The bank my mother worked at went out and hired a guy to configure all the computers. They paid him $1,000 to do basically nothing but change the clock on them. Guess what happened? Nothing. Another example that prediction hype leads to income for many people.

Wether we beleive in it or not makes not a scrap of difference...if it happens it happens if it doesnt well those that worry about it worried for nothing and those that dont worry about it ( like me and millions of others) will just say i told you so  !!

SO DONT WORRY cause it aint gonna happen !!
