people on here actually think god talks to them.is that dilusional or is it just the strength of...

suggestion?i'm not trying to be rude but in my opinion you have to be a bit nuts to actually believe god is talking to you .

Everyone has a conscience and an inner voice. If you were brought up in that belief and you had no reason to believe otherwise, you might think God talks to you too. It's a lot easier to think that the deity who is supposedly going to save you keeps an open line of communication with you as well.

God has spoken to many of His Saints and People over the years. Answer me this IF He isn't talking to us today HE has changed. THis is a lie cuz GOD never changes. BTW His Spirit told me to answer to this ques.

Bottom line is that no one is sane. Everybody's got their own brand of crazy. And if you choose to interpret the voices as God, then great, because you probably won't be heading out to blow up you're local kindergarten, what with that being a Biblical no-no. Some think of it as their conscience. And some spend their time denying God's existence to such an extreme that it may as well be a form of worship, what with infatuation and obsession being two sides of the same coin.

I don't know what your religious beliefs are. Frankly, I don't much care either, what with having known people of just about every faith you can name and learning that it doesn't change who they are. Good people use God to do good works. Dicks use God to judge, but I'm getting off topic. What I'm saying is, if you consider yourself a Christian, or person of any religious denomination, then there's nothing in any holy book which says that God won't or can't talk to you. Why then be so surprised that there are people out there who say God has done so?

I suppose it's the difference between theory and practice.

Actually, God communicates with everybody. The problem is most don't know how to listen to God. Most believe that God has communicated to them through holy books or some prophets in the past. And that is it. So they don't think God can communicate today on today issues.

Notice I prefer the use the word communicate rather than talk.
Hear is how you can listen to God.
God communicates one message at a time.

He uses many ways, he prefers not to use words as most believe as this is always subject to interpretation by others with other agendas.

He prefer to use your imagination, experiences and feelings to communicate. Since God love sends you the grandest love you will ever have, he likes the grandest choice for you.

His message for you is associated with the grandest Love, the Grandest Truth, and will bring the Grandest Joy . That is the signature of Gods message. The second grandest one does not qualify as his message. Ignore it.

For example if you are looking whether to buy that car. Ask yourself it is true that it is reliable and you can afford it? Is your data true? Will this be the best option for your family and loved ones? Can you imagine the joy it can bring to your and ones you love. If this is the best in each of the three categories, Truth, Love and Joy, then God is communicating with you with his signature.

Use this way of listen to God on all your issues at hand.
God does communicate on current issues, like gay rights, sexual orientation, abortion, choice of jobs, or purchase of a property, or make and investment.  This message should come from within you based on what you know, what you feel and what you can imagine. If these feelings, imagination or even experiences are not from you, but others then it is not valid. This is because God resides within each of us.

Even animals can listen to God in this way.
