Are Jehovah and Jesus ONE and the SAME as revealed In the Book of Revelation?

    Revelation 5:6-7 (King James Version)

6And I beheld, and, lo, in the midst of the throne and of the four beasts, and in the midst of the elders, stood a Lamb as it had been slain, having seven horns and seven eyes, which are the seven Spirits of God sent forth into all the earth.

7And he came and took the book out of the right hand of him that sat upon the throne.

    Revelation 6:16-17
    Also, Revelation 3:12

Not to tread on your beliefs, but if the Bible says it, there is no man alive who knows better, so why ask another mortal? Pray if you're that curious.

The name "Jehovah" is the name of God which is occasionally used in the Old Testament but never in the New Testament in the most widely respected translations. It is currently primarily used by members of a  religious cult.

The name "Lamb" is the name given to Jesus in the Book of Revelation and His words are frequently quoted. However just a few of God's words are quoted in the Book of Revelation.

Here are the last words of God (who is given the name of "One" in the Book of Revelation) that are recorded in the Bible with my explanatory words in caps added:

    Book of Revelation 21:5-8

5 Then the One sitting on the throne said (THIS IS ONLY THE SECOND TIME IN THIS BOOK THAT GOD'S WORDS ARE REPORTED) "I am making everything new. Write down what I have said. My words are true and can be trusted. 6 Everything is finished! (THIS IS THE WORD THAT WAS USED WHEN GOD COMPLETED HIS FIRST CREATION OF THE EARTH,WHEN JESUS' TORTURE ON THE CROSS ENDED AND NOW FOR THE LAST TIME IT WILL BE USED WHEN GOD COMPLETES HIS CREATION OF THE NEW HEAVEN AND EARTH) I am Alpha and Omega,(WHICH MEANS) the beginning and the end. I will freely give water from the life-giving fountain (THE HOLY SPIRIT) to everyone who is thirsty. (IN NEED OF A SPIRITUAL RE-CHARGE) He who overcomes (SIN) will inherit all things.(GIFTS AND BLESSINGS FROM GOD) I will be their God, and they will be my people.(WELCOMED INTO THE FAMILY OF GOD) 8 But I will tell you what will happen to cowards and to everyone who is unfaithful (TO GOD) or who has a filthy mind (USUALLY DUE TO PORNOGRAPHY CONDITIONING  OR HAVING FILTHY FRIENDS ) or is sexually perverted (PRACTICING HOMOSEXUALITY) or who murders or uses witchcraft or worships idols (STATUES) or tells lies. They will be thrown into that lake of fire and burning sulfur. This is (WHAT THE BIBLE CALLS) the second death."(THE "FIRST DEATH" IS THE NATURAL PASSING AWAY THAT OCCURS ON EARTH)

No! Isn't the Trinity concept good enough? I agree with Jarn. Pray. @DrDeanCrosby, the 'last word of God' came when man chose apostasy. Fortunately, we've passed that stage. If one does not believe in modern revelation than we're stuck with the bible. Surely, God doesn't agree with evil actions and that is why we have repentance. @Judah's daughter, something new I learned...'lamb is the lamp'. Where did that scholastic interpretation come from?

If religions can't get it straight it is no wonder there are so many atheists around.  Don't be mistaken.  God is a jealous God.  Just as I personally don't liked being called by another name other than my own, just think how much more so that God feels about His Great Name.  Seek it.  Find it.  Use it.  Or lose it.  Don't put your trust in man to tell you what God wants to be called.  He has a name just as we all do.

Well I was all set to answer this, then I saw Judah's Daughter had posted and I knew everything I would say, had already been said.

She beat me to it again.

    Sigh....

    Good question tho.

    John 20:28 (Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition)
28Thomas answered, and said to him: My Lord, and my God.

Is it reasonable to deduce by the above text that sinful man has actually seen God the Almighty, or, is there another way to interpret this?
    Note please this text:

    Acts 7:55 (Douay-Rheims 1899 American Edition)
55But he, being full of the Holy Ghost, looking up steadfastly to heaven, saw the glory of God, and Jesus standing on the right hand of God. And he said: Behold, I see the heavens opened, and the Son of man standing on the right hand of God.
Clearly, the above text, shows that Stephen under the influence of God’s holy spirit saw Jesus at the right hand of YHWH/ JEHOVAH.

The angel who appeared to Moses at the burning bush actually said:

    Acts 7:30-33 (King James Version)
30And when forty years were expired, there appeared to him in the wilderness of mount Sina an angel of the Lord in a flame of fire in a bush.
31When Moses saw it, he wondered at the sight: and as he drew near to behold it, the voice of the LORD came unto him,
32Saying, I am the God of thy fathers, the God of Abraham, and the God of Isaac, and the God of Jacob. Then Moses trembled, and durst not behold.
33Then said the Lord to him, Put off thy shoes from thy feet: for the place where thou standest is holy ground.

    Exodus 3:2 (American Standard Version)
2 And the angel of Jehovah appeared unto him in a flame of fire out of the midst of a bush: and he looked, and, behold, the bush burned with fire, and the bush was not consumed.

    Joshua 5:15 (American Standard Version)
15 And the prince of Jehovah's host said unto Joshua, Put off thy shoe from off thy foot; for the place whereon thou standest is holy. And Joshua did so.

Who really IS the Word, of JEHOVAH the Almighty?
