Do you know the difference between the philosophy of religion religious discourse

When people are asking questions that invovle religious overtones - why do some folks attack the questioner with remarks such as 'obivous non-believer' as if people who don't subscribe to your own personal and unknownable beliefs aren't not allowed to even discuss these topics? Charging people as a religious 'criminal' for even DARING to impose a differnet slant of a person's rigid and brittle beliefs is self-evident that an unexamined life means being a dogmatic person who is afraid of thoughts that might topple a shaky paradigm?
