The truth about the great alien hoax.

Updated on August 18, 2013

Are aliens real?

In June 2013, a video showing the Canadian defence minister talking about the existence of aliens on Earth appeared on Youtube. In it he admits that aliens are real and living and working among us.

The Canadian defense minister admits aliens are real! - Quite a statement!

Watch for the bit towards the end where he admits there is an international cabal that has been keeping the truth about alien visitors to Earth a secret from the world's population.

What movie makers think aliens look like

The celluloid version of aliens is almost overwhelmingly negative, so it's no wonder ET: The Extra Terrestrial was a hit. It's always nice to have a change.

Alien (The Director's Cut)
Alien (The Director's Cut)

My favourite film. It's A Wonderful Life? Forgetaboudit! This film broke new ground in both sci-fi and horror and brought a whole new meaning to the word terror.

Prometheus
Prometheus

This film is kind of a prequel to Alien, and shows just how quickly things can go horribly wrong when you're on an unfamiliar planet and there's a synthetic human in your crew.

This is a BIG movie in more ways than one.

Not all aliens are bad news for the human race.

Theories, theories and more theories

If aliens are visiting Earth, they must have a reason and I don't think it's because they're on vacation. I think they're studying us, and I'd like to believe that their presence here is benign. Maybe they're working to keep us from destroying our planet and our race (if they are, they might want to try a bit harder with that).

UFO research suggests that sightings of UFOs increase at times of high international tension, such as the Second World War and the Cold War, but this may be the result of xenophobic paranoia. Who knows?

And then there's the good Doctor. - Who?

Do you think we are alone in the universe?

Do you think aliens exist?

See results

I know I do!

How many nerds/ufologists had this on a wall somewhere, I wonder. Just looking at this image makes me wonder where they came from, what they look like and what they want. Are they scientists? Are they anthropologists? Are they tourists? Are they hungry?

Here is a reprint of the iconic poster that hung in Fox Mulder's basement office for the duration of The X Files.

And somehow it speaks to all of us. We want to believe. Everyone except Dana Scully, that is. She pretty much maintained her sceptism for the entire life of the series, no matter what supernatural/inexplicable/just plain bonkers was going on around her.

If aliens all looked like this.....

Of all the people who claim UFO abductions or UFO sightings, I have never met one person personally, or heard of one in the community.

I have the book about UFOs by Leslie Kean and it's super great. Love these stories, although I'd be cautious of concluding what exactly they are.

@Nightcat: I wonder why it wasn't global news too.

I have relatives who've had a spaceship hovering over their home. These people are totally unimaginative (but adorable) and have nothing to gain by telling their story. So I believe.

I am so glad somebody researched that video because I kept watching it and wondering why it wasn't global news. Well I've heard tales from my family and I certainly refuse to believe we are alone.

@darkflowers: Wow, how exciting for you! I would love to see one. My mother's cousin had one hovering over his house one night and after that, every time I visited their place I sat outside at night and waited to see one. No luck.

      Thanks for visiting!

Recently I have seen a UFO! It was sort of shocking. I was up late, around half past 1 AM and I was on my balcony when I saw strange things happening in the sky, it lasted for hours, I couldn't stop watching. These weren't air planes or so. I'm convinced we're not alone here. That YouTube is fascinating! I watched it till the end and I don't understand why this hasn't been in the news in my country (as far as I know of!). Thank you for sharing!

@julieannbrady: You're right, who knows? I've got relatives who've seen UFOs and said to me 'Be careful what you wish for because once they've been seen they cannot be unseen.' But I'd still like to see one.

Honestly, I think I saw one. When me and my girlfriend was walking in town, I saw this crescent moon-shaped figure in the sky which is colored yellow. I noticed it was too small to be the moon so I called the attention of my girlfriend to it and when we both looked up, we saw it fade out to no where. We didn't talk about it that much but it was hell of weird.

I don't know whether there are aliens or not -- all I know is that we have to work more on our humanity. The rest is... superfluous.

An interesting figure was captured with me in the photo, if it can be considered as E.T./UFO then I saw one. I believe we are not alone in the universe, but I don't expect them to have a similar appearance with us.

I tend to think it is very possible that there are UFO's and aliens. I'll know for sure when I meet ET. Of course, that would probably scare me so bad that I wouldn't live to tell about it!

Haha nah, I've never seen a UFO (at least not one I'd assume was a space ship or an alien) and I don't believe aliens have visited earth. I suppose I'm not adamant or anything (and I wish it were otherwise because that would be cool) but it's just that there's never been any ACTUAL concrete evidence submitted to support it (other than hearsay and some out-there stories).

That being said, though, I am inclined to believe that out there somewhere there probably IS other intelligent life. Logically speaking, there seems to be an abundance of everything you can think of in the universe (billions of suns, billions of planets, billions of solar systems, billions of galaxies) so it would actually seem pretty weird if our intelligence was the only one in the universe (for that matter, it would seem odd if this was the only universe). Not to mention, if it's just us, then that's one heck of a lot of wasted space.

Yes, absolutely. I even believe everyone has the ability to connect and see them if they try, and I have had success doing so using the CE-5 Protocols and CTS technique of r. Steven Greer. I write about my work on http://www.4ufos.com

Great Lens, btw. I'd love to link to it from one of my own UFO lenses...

I don't know if we have ever been visited, but when you look into what we now know about the known universe and how many stars and galaxies there are, it is almost statistically crazy to think there is not life of some kind somewhere.

I have seen lights in the night sky that didn't make sense, but it was in rural Australia so It could have been dropbears in the trees with their eyes reflecting light. I think it's arrogant to believe earth holds the only "intelligent" life in the universe.
