  • Christianity, the Bible & Jesus

While we are commanded to worship God it should be a joyful experience not a duty. We should love God not because of something He can do for us but because He first loved us. The proof of His love is in John 3:16. As an act of worship to God I wrote a book called HISPOETRY it was a labor of love. Individual worship should be private and focus on God and display a wonder at His works. It can range from praisedancing, singing, to writing poetry. You do not need to have a perfect voice to worship you just need to be willing.

Scripture defines faith as the substance of things hoped for that are not seen. Confusing right? Well as Christians we have faith that Jesus is real even though we have not seen Him. Faith is a choice not an accident. Once you choose to profess Jesus as Lord and Savior, the Holy Spirit gifts you with true faith. This means it goes from being an intellectual thing to being a heart thing. You are born again of the water and the spirit. The water is the living water of Jesus Christ and the spirit is the Holy Spirit of God. Professing Jesus as Lord and Savior usually involves some form of the "sinners prayer" this is where you out loud acknowledge that you have sinned against God and ask Jesus to be your Lord and Savior. If you have a bible check out Romans 10:9 - 17.

John 1 In the begininning

In the beginning there was the word. The word was with God, and the word was God. He was with God in the beginning. All things were made by Him, and nothing was made without Him.

God the FAther, God the Son God the Holy Spirit three in one. There is a divinity to this trinity. The word in the above scripture verse refers to JEsus. He is the word made flesh. When JEsus accepted being born by Mary the virgin He became human. That is why scripture refers to Jesus as son of man son of God. He was both. Had Jesus not been born as a man then He could not have died on the cross in the first place. But as He is also son of God then death could not hold Him and He resurrected. Jesus lives today, He is seated at the right hand of the Father.
