So...did anyone you know get raptured yesterday?

(Since you're here, I assume you, too, were left behind.)

No one I know. And ... ah, yes. Left behind.

What a PR stunt that was. I wonder if the guy gets increased audience from this farse.

Jokers like this are a real distraction, for some, from the very important quest for spiritual awakening. As if the ego and physical reality were not distraction enough.

I don't think I know anybody.  Also, I didn't feel the earthquake.  I guess that too only happens to those who were raptured.

That man should go to jail after that stunt he pulled. Not to mention the money he put into all of it! I would be pissed about that.

So, I believe everyone fell out of favor, since no one was saved. Predicting the end of the world is a stupid, and should not even be  attempted. I believe it quite clearly states in the Christian bible that no man will know the hour nor the day of the end.

Yeah, i got ruptures within my dreams. Man, this is the craziest s**t that i've ever heard. BTW, that camping guy is actually "camping" right now, he's nowhere to find as of this writing.

Ah, no, pretty sure no know left. I would say no one was left behind since nobody left in the first place...

Maybe we were not ruptured because "all have sinned..." we just have to wait for another date to be fixed. That remind me that a guy said Camping realized he made a mistake in his calculation so he fixed a new date. I think the guy said it as a joke.

Yeah Harold Camping and anyone else who invested time and money in a prediction that had no truth to it.

As far as I can tell, I'm the only one that I know of who did get raptured.

No...ridiculous, really. I don't think I was left behind as much as still alive for another ten years. Really, read the Bible. You might actually know something instead of making things up.

Not that I know of and I live in Montana.  I did read that the gentleman that made the prediction is now predicting another date.
Does that mean we are not good enough!

I'm still here, but I'm going to have a good prank planned for the next one. I just need some searchlights, glitter, a fake Santa beard....

I was afraid that I might be, and gave some consideration to attending a Black Mass, as a precaution. But that turned out to be unnecessary. Whew! :-)

Considering that someone dies about every 18 seconds then it stands to reason about 4800 people were raptured that day. They were at least candidates.

Fortunately, we built a Rapture Intervention Chamber and I used it to ask God to give humanity (myself included) more time to get things right. As you can tell, She agreed to my request! I've since set out to do whatever I can to help others and loving my neighbors.

Secretly, I really wanted Harold to be right. That longing made me realize that I haven't done nearly enough to influence the few things I do have control over to create a world where I want to live for another 100 years. I'm realizing that the desire for a rapture is really a desire to escape the responsibility to live fully. I am thankful that God didn't let us off the hook that easily.

Nope, missed it.  But, I was wondering since it was supposed to happen at 6pm... was that eastern, central, mountain, or pacific time?  And what about my brother that lives in Japan... he's 14 hours ahead of me!   ;o)   Goofy.

No, I am still here, beside anybody that believes in a Rapture besides the Resurrection will be disappointed when they think God has delayed his coming as we see happening already.

My Hub 'The Rapture: Dispensationalism's Candy Stick' will explain my view on the subject.
