    God is good. God is forgiving.  My understanding is that if this type of abuse is truly detrimental to her, God would not hesitate to forgive a woman for looking out for her own best interests.  I am sure God does not want his subjects to be miserable because of another person.

    Anything is permissible but not everything is beneficial. If God is the one chained you in marriage it is unbreakable. If the it is the ceremonial or the ritual chained you in marriage it is fragile. You have to think between this. If it is really God, then it is the challenged you have to stand on and fight. The best weapon is your unfading beauty of gentle and quite spirit or a submissive spirit to win your war. Honor him as your head and entrust everything to God whatever things he had done on you. Learn to forgive not to divorce. Pray without ceasing, prayer change things. Real love conquers all.

    Forget the religious rules about it...
    If you are being abused I find you have a biblical right to smash it over his head! Then Drown him in Holy water!

    No self respecting woman no matter her religion should take that. Walk out on that !@#$%& to start. File a report that he has to stay so many feet (or states) away from you, this is even.

    If the church will not grant you the divorce then annul it. If that still doesn't help time to divorce that church!
