Do you believe in signs?
I am considering moving back to my home town and every time I think it would be best to stay put someone calls me for in interview in my home town. If it is a sign I should go. On the other hand no one would be calling me if I didn't apply for the job.
So what is your feelings on "signs"?
Dear Traci21,
We have been endowed with an instinct. Your instinct is telling you what to do; relax, trust it and listen to it. Another way to find the answer is to contemplate your problem when you're in bed slowly falling asleep. Chances are your mind will provide a dream in which there will be an answer to your problem. 'Signs' as you refer to them are there through instinct (that gut feeling) and even dreams.
All the best to you.
Traci I think the sign is that you have applied for the jobs in your home town to begin with. Your inner gut is telling you what to do. Interview and see what happens! Home is where the heart is!!
I was going to give you pretty much the same answer as MamaTsachet. I think the sign is that you are looking for jobs in your home town. If you keep applying for home town jobs, it's a sign that you're looking to go home. Go do some interviews there.
It's not to believe in it, it's to live by it, but then again, you must come to whatever conclusion on your own.
I sometimes believe in signs, but I don't put too much thought into them. It is a sign, or is your heart and/or instinct telling you what to do? Have you applied for the same number of positions in both locations? If you are applying for more back in your home town, maybe your heart is telling you to move back home. It seems like your gut instinct is telling to stay where you are currently since you keep putting aside the desire to move back home.
When it comes to jobs and relocating, sometimes it is best to put most of your emotions aside and go back to the classic pros and cons list. Where do you have a better chance of landing a job? Compare the cost of living, they types of jobs that are available, cost of living, etc. After you have this list, then think about where you would be happier. If you believe you would be happier in a place that has more cons, then you have a hard decision trying to determine if your overall happiness is more important than career opportunities at this time in your life.
Yes I definitely believe in signs, and when ever it seems best I try to follow my gut instinct.
We may be led by signs at times, yet we have to make logical choices and consider all, before we make any moves that are of importance.
Yes. Signs are sort like six-sense kind of feeling.
Once a while I will have these sorts of feeling and I go for it without doubts. It is like an instinct and tend to turn out great in the end.
I do believe in signs. God can not talk to you directly and through many signs HE intends to give you the message which is right for you. These signs are for those who looks for them. Else all goes unnoticed.
Thank you and its a nice question.
I would ask myself first, why did you go away in the first place? It is okay to search and give yourself options and opportunities. Something made you apply for those jobs. Do you find yourself constantly missing your home town? Maybe if finances and time permits go and visit to get "a feel for it". An interview would be a great opportunity to get a "feel for it". You can always interview and turn down the opportunity if it turns out not to be beneficial to you. I personally would prefer to have the option to turn down an opportunity than to wonder if it ever really was an opportunity. But this is my opinion only. Follow your heart, allow yourself to have opportunities in your life and it will bring positive changes. If something in your life feels lacking and you are not sure of what it is, allow yourself to search and seek out opportunities. Sometimes by finding out what we do not like, want, or need helps guide us to what we truly wish for before we even know it.
Sometimes there are coincidences that are divine action at work. Find a quiet place where you won't be disturbed and find the quiet, still voice within and listen to it. Have faith that the answer will come to you and it will.
Right now, humanity is receiving signs of Revelation. They started in 1948 with the rebirth of Israel, continued through the great star named Chernobyl ("wormwood" in Ukrainian) which spread its pestilence across a third of the world. Soon, the Rockefellers will put into effect their "mark of the Beast" (Revelation 13) to create their unholy slaves. Don't be caught wearing one.
May God bless us all and protect us.

We were in line at the grocery store and the lady in front of us in one of the motorized carts, had maybe $40. worth of groceries. Her card wouldn't go though and she said she thought it had money in it, maybe it would have by the next day. She had to put all the food back. We’re just trying...

I read something a while back about how intuition evolved to get us out of dangerous situation and that if you are using it for anything else you are more likely wrong. I then noticed people in these forums say that they just KNOW God is real and that no amount of reason will prove anything...

Is our destiny in God's hands or do we actually have free will, being that God knows all?
