Do you think Jesus was an amateur shaman because of our over ego world, today. Yet, still a very intelligent and spiritual man.

I think at the least the person was a good magician and great with slight of hand if nothing else.

What do think of this quote from Albert Einstein?

Einstein was then asked if he accepted the "historical existence of Jesus," to which he replied,

"Unquestionably! No one can read the Gospels without feeling the actual presence of Jesus. His personality pulsates in every word. No myth is filled with such life."

may be einsetin never read other myths...they are more lively...coming to jesus ,i dont consider him as myth...i dont believe he was god either but i consider him to be man who was one with entire human race...he was all humanity can become...i admire him for that...

          Einstein also said this:

"Through the reading of popular scientific books I soon reached the conviction that much in the stories of the Bible could not be true. The consequence was a positively fanatic [orgy of] freethinking coupled with the impression that youth is intentionally being deceived by the state through lies; it was a crushing impression. Suspicion against every kind of authority grew out of this experience, a skeptical attitude towards the convictions which were alive in any specific social environment—an attitude which has never again left me, even though later on, because of a better insight into the causal connections, it lost some of its original poignancy."

Whats your definition of a Shaman?

Who dug up this old thread, I thought it was cancel and I was ready to be ban for it.

Shamanism encompasses the belief that shamans are messengers between the human world and the spirit worlds. Shamans are said to treat ailments/illness by mending the soul. Alleviating traumas affecting the soul/spirit restores the physical body of the individual to balance and wholeness.
Best Shamanism master example, yet he would not admit it
Taoism holds that Lao Tzu, the author of the Tao Te Ching - is its founding father. However, even Lao Tzu in the Tao Te Ching spoke of the "Tao masters,

It wasn't me luabu did it! Nevertheless its been reborn and here we are!

Okay if thats your definition in answer to your original question, I would say yes to both if we go on the basis that he did do what he did in his day. Can he be Shaman, intelligent and spiritual?

Re: Lao Tzu I don't think he was a Shaman he was an imperial libarian or something official like that. I do love his wisdom in the Tao te ching.

The Alchemists of Taoism might be who you were referring to?..but they date further back than Lao as far as I can remember.

What happens to a soul when they reject Jesus Christ as Lord God Almighty? The assumptions can be dangerous, it seems to suggest, accept this version of Jesus, or hate Jesus Shamans can be found in just about every culture around the world.

Shamanism is not a religion; it’s a spiritual discipline that can be used in conjunction with any religion... Shamanic teachings were sharply curtailed and then expunged under the controlling rule of Christianity.

A true mater shaman would allow all acts and forms of spiritual and intellectual growth. Something mystic bothers me; it feels like Jesus has been hi jacked by Roman’s greed

So in rejecting Jesus as God one must automatically hate Jesus? Rejection and hate are two very different things. Can't see how if one rejects Jesus why they would hate him?

In saying that,  I understand that if they believed in a God outside of themselves how they might somehow feel inferior or left out or whatever one feels when they put someone on a pedestal....it may turn to hate. I don't know...

Didn't he say though...I am the way the truth and the life and no one goes to my father but through me? (or something like that) Perhaps he was pointing at... within himself, and not him the man. And the "father" was... that which created us....not necessarily a man. So maybe that is what they were trying to teach and words got in the way making it seem like Jesus was this God they believed to be separate. ....when God was really within him as he was in all people.

I agree about shamans allowing all acts and forms of spiritual growth.

              How do you mean Hijacked?

Hell is the greatest promoter of hate ever

I have a an old friend who was a student of Albert Einstein, Einstein a beautiful man with good intended, yet still did not works out a sound follow through. He is considered to be a victim of his own success through threat of nuclear war.

Jesus yet intelligent and spiritual man brought too much attention upon  himself the many translations ended up wrong. I think Jesus was hijack by Hell, introduced by the roman church to keep the masses in control and to make money and inter a spirit of fear in the masses. Also the word hell is not found in the Greek. It is slang meaning a scary place also the devil is not in hell/Hades it is a place for human soul’s.

Ancient Taoism had no concept of Hell, as morality was seen to be a man-made distinction and there was no concept of an immaterial soul.
An example of a true shamen and sound follow through of enlightenment.

Oh that makes sense then. Very possible too indeed.

                  Yes Taoism has much wisdom!

That Einstein believed Jesus existed but he was unsure of the stories being entirely true.  This is why he used the word Myth

Einstein was not atheist...he was not religious too...Einstein believed that religion are creation of human beings but he believed in some higher power too...considering he was scientist , he was open minded human being...

Einstein did say he is deeply religious and believes in God Just not in a personal God and not in a way many of understand God.

You may call me an agnostic... I do not share the crusading spirit of the professional atheist whose fervor is mostly due to a painful act of liberation from the fetters of religious indoctrination received in youth. I prefer an attitude of humility corresponding to the weakness of our intellectual understanding of nature and of our own being- Einstein

First, about Yeshuah. Hardly an amateur. Know anyone else who has returned from the dead? Not even Muhammad pulled that one off. Now, on the subject of ONE ST ONE. That is the direct translation of Einstein's name from German into English. Personally, I think he has been an element of both camps all along.
