Hope … It is what is on the menu when you are a believer!
Maybe you think there are times when all is lost. It never is though. When you have Jesus you have hope. Without Jesus there is no hope. Merely look at the state of the world and you can clearly see that. The difference in a person's life seems to clearly be attributed and associated to their faith. We all have so very much work to do and yet with the hope that Jesus alone has provided we can be bound for Heaven. We certainly do not deserve Heaven. Every single one of us is a wretch. We are born into it. Truth be told we deserve the other place but with Jesus there is always hope. He provides it and only He provides it. If you ever see a Christian or any person for that matter who thinks they are in a good place they need to start all over. None are good, no, not even one. So the hope lies in Him and Him alone.
Our hope rests in Christ and in Christ alone. As He says, "With God anything is possible." He is there for us and He is always there for us.
Consider and reflect on this definition of hope, Hope is an optimistic attitude of mind that is based on an expectation of positive outcomes related to events and circumstances in one's life or the world at large. As a verb, its definitions include: "expect with confidence" and "to cherish a desire with anticipation".
That is a Jesus thing and there is no doubt about it. It is why He left behind His incredible teachings and His incredible example of Love.
Consider these Bible verses:
1 Peter 1:3 Blessed be the God and Father of our Lord Jesus Christ, who according to His abundant mercy has begotten us again to a living hope through the resurrection of Jesus Christ from the dead, 4 to an inheritance incorruptible and undefiled and that does not fade away, reserved in heaven for you, 5 who are kept by the power of God through faith for salvation ready to be revealed in the last time.
Jeremiah 29:11 For I know the thoughts that I think toward you, says the Lord, thoughts of peace and not of evil, to give you a future and a hope.
1 Corinthians 2:9 But as it is written:
“Eye has not seen, nor ear heard,
Nor have entered into the heart of man
The things which God has prepared for those who love Him.”[
Revelation 21:4 And God will wipe away every tear from their eyes; there shall be no more death, nor sorrow, nor crying. There shall be no more pain, for the former things have passed away.”
God bless always
